Howard Johnson by Wyndham Leavenworth

Pool was great for kids, breakfast was good and location is pretty close to main part of town. Rooms are older and show wear as you would expect for price but one thing of note is walls are thin and you can hear even normal noise through walls.

The property is older and run down in several areas and it was not a quiet stay. We could hear everything. Several people running and talking later at night, the cars driving by, the ice machine. The AC did not keep the room cool enough at night, between the AC and noise, it made it difficult for me to sleep through the night.

Only real issue with this hotel was that it was very hot when we turned the A/C off at night. The reason to that was because it was extremely loud even on the lowest setting. I don’t know if the rooms on the lower level are cooler but the third level room we stayed in was way too hot and again the A/C unit was too loud to fall asleep with it on. Lastly, the water from the shower was very inconsistent. It was be warm and then immediately change to extremely cold for a few seconds then change back to warm water. Not worth what we paid for. We stayed at the icicle resort and the blue elk in in the past. Obviously they’re more expensive but the stay at those hotels were better. We decided to go cheaper this year and it cost us several sleepless hours at night.

The bed was so comfortable and the linen smelled line dried! Very fresh and clean. Pillows were like puffy clouds. Breakfast was wonderful! The room could use updating

Clean and convenient location, breakfast was great, and the staff were so sweet to my partner and I. We paid for a checkout extension, and maintenance came to our room but quickly turned away when they realized we were still there. The front desk called unannounced and apologized and even gave us a gift when checkout came! Amazing!!! No complaints!

My room was nice and clean but the toilet was so small and low to the ground. It should have been for a 5 year old!

They could use new door for the bathroom however great price and a helpful staff

Location Dirty and shower broken, did not fix and was told “don’t take a shower”

Pool, location, and mini fridge. Bed, bed, bed, bed..... my wife and I could not sleep on hard mattresses. Our bodies were aching from laying on the beds. AC unit was going in and out. It would not stay on for that long. It would work at certain increments. Faucet had no hot water and it was leaking at the top of the faucet handle. Toilet was too short and made for a small child. Bathtub enamel was exposed on the top left side of tub. Missing TV remote for streaming channels. Bathroom door knob was so obviously loose. Worse room ever in our travels. No more 2 star motels. We did n9t enjoy our stay one bit. Downtown Leavenworth was the saving grace to our trip. ???

Door didnt have a proper seal allowing bugs into the room

Nice rooms, beds and big rooms! Parking was tight and some spots are difficult to get into.
