The staff was absolutely wonderful...
-
The outside of the hotel needed a lot of upkeep like paint and the stairs were particularly ugly. The inside was clean and neat and the people were wonderful. Great for a budget hotel.
-
It was fine. Not a luxury place, but the room was clean and everything worked ok.
-
The property is in serious need of repair, much less updating.

Location. Beautiful view. The breakfast could have offered more options.

Comfortable bed, good location, friendly staff, clean room Old facilities, especially the decks, need repair

There was no breakfast available but I see I was charged for it. The room ànd bathroom were very nice, spacious and clean. Booking was easy. 1) I left at 8.30am ànd there was no breakfast available and no one was in the office except for about 8 customers. I waited for 5m. I was charged for a breakfast that wasn’t available. 2) À little exterior painting ànd reinforcement of the stairs would go à long way. 3) didnt feel safe in the back of the hotel ànd without someone manning the front desk.

Close to the Venus that we need ed to be at. Room was tiny! It was very outdated. The room was not very clean. There were dirt marks on the walls, the bathroom door was dirty from where people opened it below the handle. It looked like a dirty footprint on the front of the door. There was a urine spatter on the wall behind the toilet! The shower walls were warped and cracked. The main room, the dresser drawers all had crumbs/debris in them. The curtains were dirty. Behind the fridge was all dusty and dirty and it was all plugged into a Power strip. The “free continental breakfast “ was a joke. Cereal in a glass container . A few pre packaged cinnamon coffee cakes, and some bananas that were so brown and mushy. The good points: the bed seemed clean and the air conditioner worked well. Also a decent ice machine. The lady at check in was nice. Overall the valué for the money was very low.

The room was moldy, curtains were not fully closed, and tv did not have local channels. We also had multiple attempts to connect with Wi-Fi. We left the lodge at 7:30 am and had breadfast in downtown Lee.

Booked and paid for a two-day stay. LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT. The property was unsafe. The wooden stairs getting to the second floor room are not secure. Obviously, needed repair also with stair treads splitting. Hangers missing from room. The vertical slat curtains were broken with slats missing so light came in from the walkway and the facing rooms could clearly see in. Absolutely, no privacy. Toilet didn’t flush properly. And finally, there was an additional exit door in the room that had no deadbolt on the inside for security. To be fair, I was offered another room the next morning. However, since the property was in such terrible condition and the desk clerk didn’t seem to be concerned about any safety issues, especially with the unbolted additional door access to the room, I felt it safer to stay elsewhere despite losing my additional night’s payment.

Great budget option. I thought it would be loud as it’s right by a busy road but it was quite quiet and we slept well. The property was well maintained and neat and tidy. We got service in our room on a 2 night stay which you often don’t get at more expensive hotels these days. Owners / staff were kind and friendly. We will be back!

Friendly, accommodating, personable hosts. Not phased by those with small pets. Not so clean shower curtain that should have been flagged by housekeeping for replacement. Come on, cheapest item in motel room.

It was reasonably clean and had good hot water. And it was a place to stay when the rest of the Berkshires were insanely overpriced. But it was poor value for the money. The coffeemaker in the lobby didn't even work.
-
Smoke detector battery low alarm went off in the middle of the night. Had to remove and disable the detector. Did inform the desk attendant when I checked out.

Our balcony sliding door was broken. Would have been nice to sit out there. But other than that the staff was amazing. Nice play to stop and get some sleep before continuing our travels.
