Sunset Inn

The room was very small. The microwave didn't work; it was replaced with another microwave that only worked once. The room wasn't cleaned the 2nd morning; the manager brought new towels and asked whether I wanted the bed made. The staff was very accommodating.

It is in a perfect location, close to the outlets. Pool was great!! We really enjoyed our stay!!

I needed the room for a quick one nighter. With that in mind it served my purpose quite well.

It was clean, quiet, and the beds comfortable. Also, the office staff was friendly and had good recommendations for places to eat nearby. Plain looking with somewhat meager bathroom essentials.

Do not recommend, especially if there are women or children in your group.

I thought this was a good place to stay for cost conscious travelers. It's not the newest or fanciest, but it is maintained and clean. Full features, with fridge, TV, "cable box" and A/C.

It was a great stay, close to many amenities. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed.

It was the only hotel that still had availability and I guess I know why. The only nice part was the pool. The room was from the 60s/70s complete with nonworking microwave and fridge. However, the real bad part was the poison. We saw a placed around in the bathroom and the subsequent dead mouse in our bathtub. We were moved to another room, which was definitely better. I had to question why we were not given that room in the first place. However, for the amount of money we paid it was really bad.

Location is perfect, simple hotel, clean.

Great place for an overnight stay for a Tanglewood show. Owner/manager was very nice. Didn't use the pool but it looked good and clean and people were using it. Room was small but was fine for the night.

Property was great. Clean well kept outside. Good location Very small bathroom and had to go get an extension cord definitely not enough plugs. Could barely get something to eat . Small town

The pictures shown on your site are not representative of this motel. We pulled into the drive and turned around and left without even checking in. There was debris leaning on the building outside of several rooms, the landscaping and parking lot was over grown. You could not even see the pool from how overgrown the weeds and bushes are. If the outside is this unkempt there was little expectation of the condition of the rooms. So disappointing that the online photos are so deceptive.

It is a budget hotel, very simple and somewhat dated, but everything was clean and comfortable and worked properly. We appreciated that our room had a fridge and a microwave as well as a small table with two chairs for working and eating. The motel is right on a main road; a good location for getting to Tanglewood and Stockbridge, and not far from Pittsfield (which has excellent theater). Yet, it was quiet and the beds (we had a room with 2 full beds) were very comfortable. We both slept quite well. I liked that there was a pool--unfortunately we did not have time to try it out, but I looked at it, and it looked quite clean and nice. No coffee set up in the room, but it's across the road from a Starbucks and right next door to Roses, a fancy breakfast spot. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Nothing major.

Room smelled awful and the blanket was so dated. We ended up driving home 1 1/2 hours rather than stay the night. Very sleazy.
