Comfort Inn Lees Summit @ Hwy 50 & Hwy 291

The manager owner I’m not for sure which one he is. He is very rude and disrespectful not only to the guest, but to his staff, I witnessed him speaking to a new female staff at the front desk and talking to her like a dog and I’ve been a business owner three times never ever when I speak to my employees or anyone in that matter… he was called down to the room because a bottom drawer in the dresser got stuck and maintenance had came and looked at it, and said it needed to be replaced. It was broke so he proceeded to scream and yell at my husband that he was going to charge us on our credit card for this dresser and my husband went and got maintenance and he explained to him no it was not our fault it was broke. It needed to be replaced then he started yelling at the maintenance guy who goes above and beyond, so the only part of the staff that was awful was owner/management. The rest of the staff was very kind and sufficient.!! if you’re going to run a business learn to treat your staff better!!

Clean room good breakfast convenient to businesses & highway.

I found a used tampon behind the side table when I pulled the table out to pick up something that fell behind it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I need a handicapped seat for the shower, the desk staff went and found one for me. The property is very clean and well maintained. Very pleased

Wasn't fixed when we returned. Moved rooms,key wouldn't open door. Toilets are so short..must have been surplus from a grade school. Shower had 2 containers of shampoo. No rinse. Small bar of soap. Breakfast was decent.

Bath room had balks of hair on it and looked as if someone cut their hair and threw it on the floor had a foul oder that was attempted to be masked by what smelled like cologne

The carpet was filthy and the room smelled terrible. It did not make for a good stay. It was difficult to sleep with the smell. It was noisy in the halls. In addition, the staff is not very helpful. I booked for a two nights stay and they ended up billing me an additional night (3 nights at $103). The room and stay is not worth $100 per night, although I paid $400 for 2 nights. Price hike was ridiculous. Not happy.

There is no longer a hot tub on the property.

The room itself was super dated, bed linens had holes, the bathroom floor was sticky. We had a "handicap" room so the bathroom was huge, but regular tub with bars all around, some falling off the wall. House keeping only took out the trash and changed our hung towels, but didn't bother to make the bed. That was SUPER disappointing considering the cost of two nights there.

The room was clean and quiet. We had a good sleep. It would have been nice to have a working bathroom fan. It got very steamy while showering. The coffee and breakfast were not very good. The staff was kind and friendly, but it would have been nice to have a bell at the counter at check in because we had to wait for someone to show up for a minute or two when we were checking in. Overall, good stay!

Room service was not consistent

There was a strong cleaning chemical odor that made my stay very unpleasant.
