The pool water appeared cloudy and not clean. Not enough chairs at the pool. Elevator was stifling hot for some reason. Shampoo canister was empty in shower. 3 towels for 4 people. Gym was under construction so no fresh water station. Breakfast was excellent- good coffee.

Let me start by saying I love hampton inns. I have never stayed at one where I felt like I couldn't sleep in the bed and feel comfy. The bed and cleanliness were good, but the property...i get they are renovating because it sorely needs it, but they can't keep rooms open that have huge cracks in the bathroom ceilings and are literally halfway renovated. The elevator felt like it was going to fall apart, too. I'll always stay at hampton and have for over 20 years, but this one dam near made me want to check out and go to another hotel. No shade on the staff, they were fine.

The Mexican restaurant next to the parking lot The construction taking place inside the facility

In my room the bathroom sink was cracked, toilet paper holder falling off the wall, wall paper torn. Breakfast items were cold as we got there at 9 am, maybe we got there too late. I will say the 3 different front desk people throughout our stay were great! Pool was refreshing after a hot day at the air show.

The hotel was under renovation and it wasn't presentable. Although the staff was very helpful and had excellent customer service, under the circumstances. I recommend Expedia find out about the condition of the hotel before bookings.
-
Nice clean hotel, just a mile or two off the highway. Plenty of food options nearby - recommend Fratelli's pizza

Breakfast was OK! Staff was wonderful! Constructing did not bother us at all! We always stay at Hampton Inn! What type of immunities do we get for being loyal members! We have never gotten any kind of discount! I think we are silver members!.

The pool area was okay but there were not any towels as was stated to us. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. I would not stay here again unless there was a serious renovation.

Awful experience, we booked this hotel because it looked clean, breakfast included, and a nice pool. When we got there half of the walls and hotel was covered to construction, and the pool was down the entire week we stayed. Breakfast was minimal and the ham was just warmed up lunchmeat. We were so disappointed, my kids hated going back there every night. The floors in the room were also FILTHY and sticky, so we had to go buy our family of 5 slippers to wear in the room. So terribly disappointed.

The location was great, since we were there to visit the Patuexent Naval Air Museum I was not informed, prior to our visit, that they were doing remodeling and testing alarm systems.
-
Room Pool was temporary close, breakfast foyer was closed due to renovation, would of been nice to let us know ahead of time since y kids were ready for the pool
-
During our stay, sections were closed off due to construction. Booked the hotel for the children to use the pool, pool was closed. Could not find a different hotel to stay at. No offer for adjustment of cost due to the conditions

Breakfast good . Lots of choices. No complaints
-
Clean and quiet with basic amenities for a short stay.

The Bed was perfect and the breakfast was delicious.

Location was okay The advertised queen beds are actually only full sized beds. I feel like I got ripped off for my money. They had to switch me rooms because the bathroom wasn’t clean enough.

The staff are friendly and helpful. We could tell that the hotel is a little old how ever the evidence of attempt to care for it was visible. I do wish that tile floor in the entry area of our room is cleaner. We like to stay on barefoot. I could feel the dirt under my feet. So I ended up mopping the floor with one of the hand tower to make myself comfortable. This might not be a problem to those who wear shoes all the time, so this is not a complain but additional information in case it is helpful. AND, maybe this is not typical in every room. We are planning on coming back here because I enjoy Hampton Inn's room layout very much. Title floor at the entry and bathroom can be cleaner for guests who like to walk on it with barefoot. This is not a complain since it won't matter for those guests who wear shoes. Thank you.

Typical mid range-ac was not cold at all-which is a big minus for us.
