The Georges

We had a wonderful stay at the Georges and enjoyed their (free!) hot breakfast. But it would have been nice (when they offered to take our bags for us) if they told us our room (#18) was on the third floor and they don’t have elevators. We regretted not getting that help up the stairs with pit luggage.

Room was perfection, breakfast was delicious, the town was adorable. 10/10 stay!

Great Stay!!

Fantastic experience. The room is very well-designed and at the same time very comfy, especially the bedding. Staff are friendly and offer help proactively. Breakfast was of very good quality. Overall beyond 5 star experience

We stayed for 4 nights, so we had luggage. There is no elevator, and this was one of the oldest historical buildings in the city, so the stairs were very narrow. That part was difficult, but the room, the staff, the luxury appointments, were all excellent. The GM, John, was one of the friendliest hotel managers I ever met. This property is directly in the heart of this small town, everywhere from here that you want to go is walkable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely return.

The Georges is a beautiful boutique hotel in Lexington. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very homely. The staff are most helpful and friendly and both breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Super comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the shower. Quaint and charming!

100% recommend the Georges! Wish we were staying more than 1 night. The room, bed, towels were wonderful. Ate dinner and breakfast at Tapas and the food was excellent. The staff were helpful, friendly and seemed very happy. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying in this historic, totally renovated hotel. This was a very pleasurable stay for us. The staff was more than helpful and the accommadations were wonderful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Staff is amazing

Luxurious linens and top notch accommodations. The staff was helpful but could be more friendly in regards to customer queries.

This place is very neat. It is walkable to many restaurants. We also walked the nearby BEAUTIFUL campus of Washington and Lee university. It was clean. Staff was great. Stay here!

Every aspect of my stay was a delight. The location was ideal. The staff was welcoming & attentive. The room was well appointed, tastefully decorated and very clean. The included breakfast was excellent. All in all, The Georges exceeded my expectations.
