The location is great. The rooms are comfortable When we arrived the lobby smelled like sewage. Did not know if they were experiencing a plumbing issue. The design of the shower is not good as the water splashes out and makes the floor very wet even when using the shower mats. The floor tiles are getting water under them and starting to lift. It would have been nice to know the garbage dumpsters are going to be dumped early in the morning.

The building and the room have some much character! The room was huge with intrigue architecture. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel and it was also delightful! We ate outside on the 2nd story deck. Service was wonderful as well! We loved exploring Lexington and the surrounding area. So much within walking difference of the hotel. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Hotel is well located but in severe need of a cleaning and refurbishing. Paint scuffed, all looks worn and dated. Poor parking situation and "breakfast" is minimal. Disappointing.

The location and rooms were great. Very friendly staff on arrival The bathrooms were a little tired, and sadly the lounge was closed. Breakfast was not great.

The front desk staff was extremely accomadating. We loved the room, and the bathroom was amazing. The location can't be beat.. it was a perfect stay. Thank you!

Beautiful historic hotel located in downtown Lexington; easily walkable to many of the restaurants and historical sites. Staff were friendly. Room was modern and clean. The elevators were especially interesting. One was from 1926 and they still had phone booths in the lobby. Overall a very nice property. Probably wouldn’t visit with young children as due to the age of the property. You can hear quite a bit. We plan on staying here again when we visit the area.

Great location in a renovated, historic building. Roomy. Coffee maker in room. Needs a good, deep clean throughout. Feels tired in main area. BF was quite basic and all was plastic wrapped, stale, but nice selection of fruit. Would be nice to have fridge in room.
