My daughter and 3 year old granddaughter and I came to Lexington for a little get away. The hotel is really nice and clean and is an easy walk to stores, restaurants and little shops. The pool area was cozy and clean, it's pretty small but it was perfect for us because noone else was in it. The only complaint I have is concerning the breakfast. We went down to have breakfast at 8:45 am Sunday morning and there was no bread, barely any eggs, just hardly anything. So since there was very little food and the person who was supposed to be refilling everything wasn't doing it, we just left and had to go buy breakfast elsewhere.

Beautiful and historic. The governor who owned this property owned 27 slaves. The grandfather clock in the dining area doesn’t work.

A lovely and very quiet, comfortable hotel room, Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator in the historic house, ao individuals with disabilities may be challenged with getting themselves and their luggage up to the second floor rooms. There are quite a few stairs to navigate.

Always a favorite! You can’t beat how beautiful the place is and Lexington is such a great little town.

Looked nice from the outside The carpets were dirty and smelly. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. There were cockroaches. The rooms are in serious need of a makeover. At registration we were lectured about why we should not have used Booking.com to make our reservation!

We stayed in the historic home and it was wonderful! The hotel sits on the edge of Lexington which is darling to explore. There was even a Friday concert in the park.
