The hotel had that old charm , it was beautiful to drive up to. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk lady was very through.

It is an amazing hotel. A historical building with modern amenities.

The hotel is walking distance to the downtown restaurants/shops, Washington and Lee University, VMI. Very relaxing pool area with Hot tub, nice shaded areas, comfortable seating. Nice area for breakfast, food choices were ok. Staff was very nice.

Very quiet and relaxing hotel. Great location and within walking distance of downtown
-
Wonderful hotel! Close to VMI and walkable to downtown Lexington.
-
The setting of the hotel is beautiful and convenient to Lexington's main attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but offered enough basic items to get going for the day.
-
They offered a pretty good breakfast, free parking, a nice fitness area, and good room amenities in general. It was a good value for the dollar!

One of the quietest stays I've had in years.

Absolute trash hotel. The management here literally stole $150 from me. On top it of that; after they stole the money, they had the nerve to lie to me and blame Expedia and Hiltons hotel policy for stealing my money. The fact is the general manager and manager of this hotel have zero honor and will literally steal your money to meet their hotels quota. Hope it was worth the $150. I gave the management multiple opportunities to do the right thing. Do not trust this hotel with anything. If any business is willing to steal from you and then lie to you, there is nothing they are not willing to do. I stay at hotels over 100 days a year and never has something like this happened. Gross.

Wonderful place to stay, clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. The Manor House was awesome!
-
The layout of the room was great. The bed was great. We had enough towels. Behind the curtains it was filthy. The window sill was filthy. The bathtub floor was filthy.
-
Lovely historical building, beautiful views of the mountains and close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast and the coffer were good as well!
-
Lexington is worth a visit. Walkable and interesting historic center. Many educational plaques set into sidewalks. Loved the sign near Stonewall Jackson’s house describing him as “teacher and gardener” during his time as instructor at VMI.

The prettiest Hampton Inn I've ever seen. This building has history to it. The pool was just opened so it needed cleaning, but the grounds were beautiful. You can sit outside on the veranda with your free breakfast in the morning. And my favorite, walk from the hotel into town for dinner.

ok Upon arrival I was informed the king room I had reserved had just been given to a couple who did not like their queen room and my wife and I would be getting the queen room, which did not have a queen bed but a double bed. When I requested another room I was informed we got the last room ( at 4pm) and I observed at least 3 other couples check in after us. Because I booked through bookings I was told the hotel could do nothing about the rate. In the future I will probably not use bookings and certainly not stay at a Hampton Inn
