Buetiful classic new england motel

It's not an inn! It's an old-style drive up to the door motel.

Great place to stay and in proximity to so much of the great attractions in Maine. The owners are fantastic helping folks navigate the area and provided extra amenities during our stay. My daughter loved it too. Other positives: easy parking, quiet, clean…. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great inn. The owners are on site and provide a charming and comfortable place to stay on costal Maine. Highly recommended.

A charming old school motel on a hillside with peeks of Penobscot Bay, this place exudes mid-20th-century Americana charm on a woodsy stretch of Route One just north of Camden. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming, and the location is convenient to Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Northport, and Belfast.

I don’t understand the praise - this is a motel-full stop.

It is a lovely old fashion motel which is beautifully and lovingly maintained. The owners are passionate about keeping it pin perfect and feeding you fresh baked goods daily for breakfast! If you are looking for an experience that takes you back in time only in good ways, it is ideal for you. Although the motel itself and the property are gorgeously maintained, there are no amenities which we did not mind at all (such as a playground or pool or outdoor area to enjoy).

Our family of four spent two nights in early June at the Mount Battie Inn and found it to be charming, situated in a quiet, ideal location, and a great value for the price. We would stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone traveling to Camden or elsewhere in the area. The friendly inn keepers are happy to suggest restaurants and other places to go. We found them super helpful! And definitely make time to visit the hotel’s namesake tower — seeing the view of the harbor was one of our favorite parts of the whole trip!

We arrived and immediately received the warmest of welcomes from Ed & Christine the owners & so knowledgeable about the area & great restaurants nearby. They even made dinner reservations for us. Our room was as cute as described with a view that was amazing. Of cause Christine’s baked goods are not to be missed. The Mount Battie Motel is a must if your looking for a great place to stay & enjoy the area.

Ocean view yes but limited. Clean room. The treats were a nice touch.
-
Property is a little dated and the water pressure wasn’t the best, but the owners were very informative and the home baked goodies for breakfast were delicious! It’s in a great location for traveling the area.

The warm banana bread and muffin was amazing
-

The location, close to Camden Some updating is needed, no full breakfast as it was done in previous years.
