Crown Inn

. As soon as I opened the door there was a huge spider/spiderweb next to the entrance. In the bathroom I found centipedes crawling from shower drain as well as more spiders. The shower was not clean and the shower curtain had hair on it. There was a mildew smell that transferred to my clothes after leaving. The bed was made but the sheets were stained and dirty with crumbs? I ended up sleeping on top of the covers and door dashing a blanket to lay on because I was genuinely afraid of bugs/bed bugs. The ceilings and walls were stained and there were holes/cracks all along the walls. The bed was comfortable and the toilet, fridge, and microwave only thing that was clean. I am not one to ever leave negative reviews but this is one that i felt must be known.

Discusting place asked for non smoking room smelled like straight smoke rooms sheets dirty drug and propetution onsite staff rude never staying here again

Internet/Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent. Speed test was almost zero. Impossible to get any work done. All that is required is a bed, a shower, and Wi-Fi. Two out of three at Crown Inn.

The staff not too friendly. Rooms look like they are made for a one affair

I would not recommend staying here.

I was only in the room 3 to 4 hours and in that time, I seen a ROACH. I went back to the front desk told them I didn't want to stay any longer. I was told that they would refund me all but the 2 night (I missed the first night) so long as I check out before 11a. I was ck'd out by 10:55a recv'd an email that that I would be refunded but THEY TOOK OUT OVER $600 FOR 2 NIGHTS when my itinerary breakdown shows that the room rate for the 2 nights should have totaled about $175 I am now in dispute with my credit card because I still have not recv'd my refund almost 2 weeks now.

It was affordable. It was clean. Close to food and places like 7-11 It was extremely noisy as it was right on a very busy road. The bathroom was in bad repair. There were people blasting music late at night in the parking lot. There is NO ice machine and refrigerator had no freezer compartment and wasn’t very cold. I am diabetic and this was important.

Parking is convenient, thermostat controlled by guest, linens freshly clean. Still there is room for improvement.

The only photo that resembled the inside was of the bed head. The rest of the room was crap.

I found the motel to be great value for money and would stay here again if I needed to find cheaper, basic accommodation near Newark Airport and within fairly easy reach of New York.

The room was just as disappointing. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and looked nothing like the photos online. The carpet had stains, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, and the furniture was worn out and damaged. The bed was uncomfortable, and the walls were so thin that I could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms all night. For the price charged, I expected basic cleanliness and decent customer service, but this hotel failed on both. Save your money and stay somewhere else.”

It’s ok

Dirty room, dirty towels, dirty shower. Room is pretty much falling apart. Only thing good is the Linden Station is close by. No one hi or smile from the front desk.

Nothing about this room is good. The door when closed you could still see outside, the windows were filthy, the beds were awful. The smell of the room awful and the traffic all night long was horrible. Just as I fell asleep I was woke up to a air horn from a rig outside and could feel the traffic going by through the walls.

On site parking was great.

The walls in the bathroom were missing tiles, door had a hole the size of ball. A dirty towel was left in the bathroom. Very uncomfortable to sleep, I felt like I was sleeping outside with all the traffic noise.

We needed a clean place to sleep after our flight out of Newark was canceled. We arrived at the Crown Inn (a motel).. As soon as we opened the door, the smell of mildew hit us. I took a video of the room for friends, laughing as I did so, because it was so incredibly bad. There was water in the walls and ceiling so that the paint was bubbling out. When we touched the paint bubbles, they were squishy with water. The corner of the bedroom had an active drip of water into it, and several feet were of the flooring was wet and squishy. The bathroom had dirty brown water running down the side of the wall, into a spare toilet paper roll that was wet and brown. There were several water bubbles in the bathroom ceiling over 6 inches in diameter that looked like they could pop at any time. But the smell was the worst. My husband has asthma and his lungs started to burn within minutes of being in the room. We just couldn’t sleep there. I went to back to the front desk, with its plexi glass barrier, and asked if we could have another room. After some discussion they gave us another room with an enormous Jacuzzi tub surrounded by mirrors. I thought that looked super fun, but the tub was not operational. The bathroom was dirty, again, but the bed seemed to clean and we slept in it for a few hours before leaving at 4 in the morning for our flight. There was some noise above us from the other rooms, but we were so tired we crashed and slept through it. Sorry, but the place is falling apart.
