Travelodge by Wyndham Livonia/Canton/Novi Detroit Area

Room smelled like cigarettes. Breakfast had very few options. Usually scrambled eggs and/or sausage are offered but they only had eggs that appear to have been boiled, left unpeeled and accidentally frozen. They had the standard make-it-yourself waffle station but someone must have added too much water to the mix because the batter was very thin. Waffles had to be cooked through 2 entire cycles and still ended up being a strange texture. Ending on a positive note - the staff were helpful and polite

This place was absolutely disgusting! All places around it were sold out, so we booked online and went to the property. We were given our room key and it was for a room 2 buildings away (apparently it is connected with the Days Inn). We walked into the room and immediately smelled a strong scent of mold and cigarette smoke. It seemed like the room must have had water damage and was not properly fixed. As well, why would it smell like smoke? To my knowledge, you can't smoke in hotel rooms! Anyway, we went to the front desk and got a refund and left. They didn't even question it so they must be aware of the state of their rooms. The rooms were priced at $200 CAD a night for that weekend. I wouldn't pay a dime to stay there

If you're looking for amenities you're looking in the wrong place. The “hot”water was at best kinda warm. I didn't expect 5star but I didn't expect such a poor quality in a relatively good neighborhood. I thought Travelodge was OK but when I pulled up I found it was actually a Red Roof. I prepaid so what was I going to do? The only positive was the selection of channels on the TV

The hotel is very dirty. It smells of cigarette smoke. I asked if you placed in another room because of the smell in the second room smelled like cigarettes as well. They will not refund you your security deposit.

Our sheets had piss stains

for it being a motel, I would say that it was pretty decent did not like how long the staff members made me feel

WiFi didn’t work. The place is ghetto

Easy to get to I didn’t like that we got a room that was also booked for pets too. You could have room for pets separately. The room had a urine smell

The shower head was shooting out water

Room price and Security deposit has increased as hotel cleanliness declines. Shower curtain was dirty. Stains on the bed covers. Bathroom doors had visible dirt and food particles. Walls could use a good wash. Air conditioner worked well. Plenty of towels and wash rags although one of the towels had a large hole. Plenty of pillows. Bed was comfortable. What is expected at this price point.
