The room wasn’t really what I expected. I was close to the pool so there was a lot of noise. And the refrigerator kept making noises.

Much better choices along the way.

I will NEVER stay here again. It was dirty, poorly maintained and falling apart. Sheets on bed had big tears and holes. Housekeeping took out trash and soiled towels yet did not make bed, left comforter and sheet in chair, no trash liners in can and no new towels or soap. Hair dryer didn't work. It was disgusting.

Just so people understand what to expect. Half of the property is a MOTEL and half is a hotel that is definitely showing its age. Despite reserving a King room, we found that the only King room was in the Motel side. We could tell there was an effort to update the bldg I guess, it has a ways to go. Obvious “residents” in the motel area, bathrooms are still hanging on to the 80s and we couldn’t finish breakfast. We really wanted it to be ok…maybe it’s normal for that area. But not worthy of high marks other than the nice girl who welcomed us and the bedrooms in the hotel section were clean.

We only stayed one night on a trip south but everything was clean! Breakfast was awesome! Lots of options including waffles and pancakes. We would definitely stay here again!

This appears to be a long term residence hotel. Although smoking is not allowed, our room was permeated with a very strong smoke smell. Sketchy best describes this hotel.

The two ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite. No complaints here.

Breakfast was good. And the AC kept the room nice and cozy.

The staff was great- very welcoming when checking in and checking out. They had nice little touches of Otis spunkmeyer cookies when checking in and a bottle of water when checking out. The facility itself is older and a bit run down. The room did not feel clean and the decor was dark and a little depressing. Overall, it for the need for the night but I probably would not return.

The rooms were clean the staff was great the only thing I have negative was the bed was a little bit on the firm side other than that we had a great experience all the way around

Unable to connect to newly upgraded WIFI with my Kindle. Apparently I'm not the first person to have this problem since I asked at the front desk with this issue. Front Desk said that there was a recent upgrade and now Kindle users and Android users are unable to connect to WIFI. Being 4 days without being able to connect to a WIFI for my emails, et cetera, was an inconvenience. I had no problems last year or the year before when I stayed there for the yearly Family Reunion. I think I should have a partial refund for this inconvenience... if anyone reads this.
