Motel 6 Long Beach, CA - International City

Run down furniture looked like water damaged, cockroaches in room small and large ,ac was ok ,bathroom was accessible and roomy no lights were left on .criminal activity and no one was watching property

It was a dump. Uber would not pick me up.

The place wasn't ready when we arrived. Which isnt to bad. But earlier in the day they told us that early check in was possible and we paid for that service.

The room had to be aired out it smelled molded. And there was not a microwave or fridge in the room.

Breakfast? I think we might be considering different hotels. Lobby coffee only The hotel was typical for other motel 6’s.

The room was clean There cockroach ? on the walls there was a flat sheet where you were supposed to put a fitted sheet and when you ask for the $50 deposit back they tell you you have to wait 30 days even if it's in cash we do not live down there so we have to turn around in 30 days and go back to get our deposit which makes zero sense probably will not stay there ever again and I don't remember motel 6 charging a $50 dog deposit

The room itself looked clean however once we got unpacked.. I noticed the refrigerator was nasty... the bathroom shower curtain had mold all over it. The microwave cord had a short in it. For the amount of money I paid, it should have been a better experience. One a lighter note, the staff was very nice..

2nd year in a row staying there before a cruise. Staff is excellent, very helpful and accommodating with early check in. Small and quiet motel-I always felt safe and it was quiet and peaceful one night stay. Really nice restaurant next door. Plan to stay again next year.

Staff was friendly. Check in was quick and simple. Because I was traveling with my best friend and SIX xhildren, we were slightly late checking out and the staff was undestanding which I truly appreciate. There was no deposit and for this reason I find this spot to be a great value and it is close to many food options which is also convenient. The room itself was modern and the vanity nirror had good lighting. There was also a small dining table with seating which I thought was a nice touch. The microwave smelled of Indian food and the floors could have been cleaner. My kids' feet got dirty from being barefoot in the room so it would be nice to not have that happen but no major complaints honestly.

Quick overnight spot for cruise departures. Parking lot is extremely tight for large vehicles or trucks. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Area is walkable but be aware of your surroundings after dark.

The owner was very rude to me and demanded a $50.00 deposit (to be refunded in up to 10 working days). Then the owner grumbled that he did not like the parking space I was using and demanded I move my car! When I entered the room I was shocked how dirty the walls were...the heater air conditioner looked as though someone took a hammer to it. I was afraid to place any of my things on the table because everything was filthy! There were drug addicts going in and out of upstairs rms. I was afraid to go out to my car..I left before 7am..I had enough for one night!

Room could use an upgrade, but it was clean and comfortable for our short overnight stay.

Staff was super nice and helpful. Place is simple to just lay your head down but does 100% smell like dried dog pee or something. Good AC

This motel was a last resort location for me and my cat, as the shelters are filling up due to a chemical spill disaster in Orange County. I wanted to be better safe than sorry, and this place was not it. I am better off taking my chances at home. This motel is in a sketchy part of LB. I fell on the uneven pavement walking to the place. I was hoping my room would be cleaner given the non-refundable fees and on site charge, but that is not the case. On arriving, the room had a Pine Sol smell despite the open window. The AC worked, thankfully. Curtains and tub were dirty, window curtains had holes in them. The TV remote was hard to work, couldn't get from the menu page to any show. Walls were very thin, sound echoes. Worst of all, I had to cut my stay short due to bugs. The light fixture/mirror on the back wall had a young roach crawl out as soon as night fell. The staff offered to spray but I reminded them I brought my cat. I recommend spending a little more if you have the privilege and stay elsewhere. Or risk staying in a clean, safe home if you can. Horrible experience. Never again.

I liked that it was very clean and was able to get my deposit back that day. Didn’t have a pool after photos online showed a pool
