Good

The place was nice and secure The door to bathroom don't close plus noisy. The shower head faces the shower curtain instead to the handicap chair causing me to slip out of the shower and falling to the ground and hitting my head against the wall. When I talked to staff at front desk about these issues Tuesday morning all he said that I seem to be ok and that was it. It wasn't brought to the manager at all. I had to use numerous of towels every time my wife and I took showers to keep from slipping again. I hope someone calls me about this.

Asked for a pillow and blanket the staff told me they don’t have pillow. I told what I’m gonna do with the blanket he said you want it or not so rude. Water was leaking inside the toilet bathroom informed and the maintenance guy showed up without doing anything left later. Their manager showed up asking what’s going on. I said we’re gonna be leaving in a few minutes. They can check they never checked. There was nobody to help with the luggage No coffee maker in the room I will never never ever recommend staying at this place anybody

No place to store clothes besides a rack with a few hangers. No place to put toiletries. We had to keep everything in our luggage. Ice maker on our floor was broken. We had four towels in the room and when I asked for one more towel and toilet paper for a party of five on the second day, the lady didn’t seem too friendly. Please read the fine print. Additional fees apply for parking, which I wasn’t aware of when booking a room. Room for 5 in only two queen beds and no pull out. I’m glad we had an air mattress but couldn’t use it in the last day, as ants were coming into the room from the bathroom.

Old vibes Needs to be updated, paid for breakfast

I like the size of the room and it was clean and comfortable The refrigerator was not cold enough and it has NO freezer, the shower drain had a sharp edge someone can cut theire foot or toes. Price is very high with no complementary breakfast! There was too much light in the room when it was time for bed. Needed lo be dark to be able to sleep.

Beautiful hotel with very nice staff. There was 2 things that were a downfall, unfortunately. One being that it costs $40 to park at the hotel even as a guest and two being, we were unable to use our purchased breakfast voucher for a cooked meal. There was only one employee working the Cafe on a very busy morning. He was taking orders and also preparing them and we were told we had 7 orders ahead of us and he needed to get started on making those before taking our order. So we just used our voucher on juices and a muffin. The room itself was great!

There were a ton bugs in the room and when wed tell them theyd just come kill and spray everywhere on our stuff...including a lizard in the sheets. Walls arent walls everyone can hear everything there isnt privacy lol other than that its cool spot.

We asked for an accessible room which was nice and spacious. The room and hotel were very clean. The beds were comfortable, a bit firm, but they did the job. The vending machines in the hallway weren't good. They either didn't work or they stole our money. I wouldn't bother. The bistro downstairs was great! Good food and open for breakfast. A bit expensive but easier than going out for breakfast when we had a busy day ahead. My biggest complaint would be one of the people working behind the desk at the lobby. We asked if the accessible pool chair was working for my son who is in a wheelchair and he blew us off. Said he had no idea if it was working and that nobody had used it in forever. He should be reminded that ADA laws require that hotels have a working pool chair. He also said it in front of my son which made him feel pretty unimportant. Other than that everything was fine. The rest of the staff and housekeepers were very kind and attentive. We stayed for almost 10 days which was a little long but I'd stay there again for a long weekend.

Great hotel

I go into LA every so often just to get out of the Central Valley and WOW! What a great property! The lady who was in charge of the register at breakfast was rude but whatever, she will not rain on my great stay. 10/10!

On the plus side, the pool area is very nice! I was disappointed with the hotel and would not stay here again.

Hollywood Hotel is well priced and offers excellent value! I took advantage of the pool, which is beautiful - the staff were very helpful and the room cleaning service was very reliable. EXCELLENT location close to all Silverlake has to offer. I would 10000% stay here again.

The check in process was smooth however parking was troublesome. The staff was friendly but provided some inaccurate information. We were told the gate would open automatically after we paid and provide the cars information. The gate itself also says touch less, ticketless however it does require the staff to remotely let you in so there can be a delay. We waited several minutes before using the intercom to get help and then the gate was opened by staff. The room was in fairly poor state, several items need attention like rusting around the faucets and peeling paint in the tub. There were several smudges and places where the dry wall seem to need attention and those spots just had a smear of paint on them. A light fixture needed attention while we were there, and we called the front desk, not only did they not answer but no one followed up after we left a voicemail.
