Had a great stay, easy to get in. It was peaceful and unique. I will definitely book again when in Silver Lake.

Room very clean, the parking was super easy there was street parking right outside. I got confused by how to check in (all my fault) but the staff was super helpful and communicative. loved the vibe.

My experience here was fine overall, this was my first time using a shared bathroom at a hotel and honestly wasn’t too bad. Loved the aesthetic in the rooms and hallway area. Only complaint is that the throw pillows on the bed smelled like someone with the worst BO rubbed their armpits all over the pillows. Other than that, the room was fine, and thankfully it was just those pillows that stunk.

As far as hostels go, this one is waaaayyyy beyond the standard. I’ve stayed at so many all over the world and will definitely be coming back here the next time I’m in LA. Wish the bar area actually served alcohol, but it was still fun to hang out there with other guests.

This place is so beautiful and cool, I’ve never seen anything like it! The bed was also super comfy and I loved all the little extras they have like toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer etc. I loved everything

Booked last minute during a layover in LA, just needed a reasonably priced place to sleep and shower. Must say I was pleasantly surprised at how great this place is. Super clean, very comfortable and chill, weird quirky decor. Loved this place.

Cute Property No Parking, Thin Walls; we were left a note by another guest for our normal nightly activity prior to 10pm

Stains on walls and bed frame. Initially hard to find since there is no sign saying the rosemary.

So our stay didn’t start out so great….The air conditioner was frozen and it took a technician to come and turn it off, reset it and we didn’t get air-conditioning until about 7 PM when check-in was 3 PM so it was very hot. The ad on Expedia said a queen size bed. It was not a queen size bed. It was a double which was not as comfortable for two people. I was given a 50% discount on our second night, which I appreciated but when I asked for the 5 gallon water to be refilled and the coffee to be refilled, that never happened and so thankfully, we did not run out of coffee Sunday morning, but that did not leave any coffee pods for the rest of the people staying there. We loved the character of the home and decorations and shared communal living area. The home itself was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again now that we know the true situation and maybe not during the summer again if the AC freezes up again because not having air-conditioning was dreadful. Other than the issues we faced, the rest of our stay was great. It was local to the venue that we walked to and we enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. It was more like an Airbnb than a hotel, which was preferred. Overall 7 out of 10. My partner and I kept saying this place has character but lacking care.

I really enjoyed my stay at the luxury loft at The Rosemary. It is such a wonderful and artsy room to be inspired and relax. Great bath too! Would be happy to return on my trips to LA — safe and very interesting location.

The location was good. The room was large enough for me. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen and dining areas were clean. I'm usually a regular at The Rosemary. I really love the vintage vibe of the decor. Pictures are attached in this review. On 07/25/26, the bed was unmade when I arrived at 11pm at night. I contacted management about the unmade bed via text, they apologized and said they'd refund my reservation and even offered a complimentary, one day stay in the future. I was appreciative so I decided to make do and figure out how I would accommodate myself. I had to put the comforter and bedsheets on the floor next to the bed because I don't trust used sheets. I did keep a pillow, but I turned it over just in case. This is the first time I've ever experienced this, so I can't say how often this situation occurs at this location.

The place was eclectic and unique. AC worked well which was great during this heat. The shower wasn’t cleaned from the last guest. Found used eyelashes on the floor of the shower after check in. Housekeeping has access to all doors. It would be nice to have a heads up of that as they just come in and out without any notice.

An amazing place! Such an awesome concept. Clean rooms, beautiful decor. Complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. So good. I will definitely look here first the next time I'm in LA.
