Hotel Mariposa Los Angeles

Excellent

It's hard to find a well-appointed hotel in LA at a lower price point. This hotel fits the bill. It's clean, big rooms, new, easy access, etc. Parking is a bit steep at $27/night and they charge for a very limited breakfast, but it reminds me of a mid-range Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. As is VERY typical in LA, the hallways reek of Cannabis smoke. The hotel seemed responsive to trying to remedy that.

I really enjoyed staying here. It's definitely out of the way of all the commotion you get in other areas. The rooms were very clean, super quiet. Parking was pretty secure so I didn't have to worry about anything. I Would definitely come here again.

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed at Hotel Mariposa. Everything was great as usual except for the fact we were on the third floor and not on the fourth floor where we had been on our previous stays. Unfortunately we could hear every footstep from the room above us. Next booking we will request the fourth floor.

The staff at Mariposa is stellar. The hotel was immaculate and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again.

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint was with the bathroom door. It was frosted glass and filled the room with light when the bathroom was in use especially at night. Also a weird noise issue with hearing voices through the ventilation system.

Newly renovated i love it

The property itself is very clean, neat, and in a perfect location. Close enough to all things LA without staying in the middle of the chaos. Everything thing is about 10-15 minutes away even with LA traffic. 4 stars because I had to wait 15 minutes to check-in because the 2 employees were behind the wall of the check-in counter on the phone, saw me waiting and didn't acknowledge me. I don't mind waiting but at least say "I'll be right with you" instead of acting as if you didn't see me, that's infuriating.

Loved the ease of in and out garage parking and the diner across the street with clean, organic food
