Clean, quiet, very nice relaxing stay

The entrance was very clean and welcoming, with a cozy lounge area that made a nice first impression. The staff was kind, and breakfast was good. The room itself was nice, but it could have been cleaned a little better and could use some TLC. The elevators were also a bit clunky. Overall, it was a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved.

Location was great. Couldn't check into my room until 4:15 pm. Had driven all night from Mississippi, and just needed somewhere to rest. Offered to check in early and pay for another day because they (I am reasonably sure) had already assigned rooms and would have been happy to put my belongings in my room until housekeeping could clean the room. We had to sit in the parking lot from 9 am until 4:15 pm before I could check in. Also, my 43 year old daughter fell in the tub because there were no bath mats or stencils in the tub, and the grab bar was mounted incorrectly at the front of the tub by the toilet! Needed to be at the back of the tub where people get out. There was trash (which I have a photo of) at the front and back door entrance overflowing out of the trash receptacle. Would be a nice "Hilton worthy" hotel if it had some serious renovations, and they didn't over-book the property. There was one young woman that worked the front desk and she was very nice and helpful as she could be. Her name was Anna. The key cards were difficult to get to work also. There were stains on the ceiling in several areas of the hotel, and just DEFINITELY not up to what standards I expected Hilton to have. I usually use Hilton, but after this experience, will be considering other hotels.

I had stayed here over a year ago with no issues. This stay was not the same. When we checked into our room after long drive and used the bathroom in our room, to find out the toilet did not flush. Immediately I went down to the front desk and made the staff aware and they were happy to put us in a different room. It was fine, but the next morning we went in this bathroom to take a shower and it would barely drain the water. So we had to stand in the water we had used to clean ourselves, I do not plan on staying at this location again.

I know check-in time was 4 PM but I went in around 2:30 and the room was not ready which was OK. Then I called around 3:30 to see if the room was ready and it wasn’t so they said it should be ready at four and when we got there at four, we were not able to check in until 445 which was very disappointing.

Lack of signage to get to the hotel. Waze and Google Maps had us twisted around. Luckily we spotted the Hilton Garden sign to help us.

The only negative comment is that, even though I agree with the policy of cleaning the room every two days, I would like to receive extra towels and toilet paper when the cleaning crew on the floor is asked. Having said that when I asked the man at the reception desk, he was more than gracious to provide us with what we needed.

Breakfast was horrible. The biscuits were cold. The eggs and potatoes were also cold. I booked this hotel because it served what looked like a good breakfast. Disappointing.
