La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock North

It definitely needs to be upgraded.

The room was very outdated, and not very clean. The wifi was also worse than just using cellular data, so we opted to not connect to it. The TV has no guide option, and every channel is grainy and the image is not fitted to the screen. There is no printer available in the business center in the lobby, so I had to go to the local office depot to print things for work. I did not try the breakfast, but I did try the coffee which was unfortunately pretty watery and lukewarm. I wouldn't say this was a bad hotel, but I don't think I would stay here again unfortunately.

Breakfast was good. I opted for making a Texas shaped waffle. I love having the option to make waffles. There was also sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy. Lots of grab and go type breakfast items like yogurt, danishes, fruit and bagels and cream cheese and fresh fruit. Parking was easy with lots of spaces close to the door.

It was good ill recommend it if is only for a day or 2

The rooms were definitely old. No amount of paint can fix that. I believe this hotel is due for a remodel. The tub had stains and rust. The room smelled “old” not dirty just old. They definitely should look into updating this place.

Location was good. Property was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and courteous. Check in and out we're easy and fast. Breakfast was good

Room had a terrible smell

I do not recommend no one to stay here. My car got broken into so did a few other customers that were staying. There will not ever come stay at this hotel again.

The entry doors two of them were broken. The rooms are filthy air conditioners weren’t working very good. Would never stay here again.

Was suppose to stay for 2 days car got broken into night one. Got a phone call the morning after and said 5 cars also got broken into. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

This place is trash. Dead bugs and live ones too. The elevator looks like it could break at any time. Breakfast is bad but you almost expect that. The first room had black stains on the bed. The A/C kept kicking off. They didn’t have soap in the room. Missing lights, scratches on the wall, dirty floors. The pool was so gross. There were like paper towels in there. Workers were all on their phones. Just pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere nicer.

Everything was okay including the breakfast but we asked for a blanket for my grandchildren and they didn't have any and the guy was very rude he was an Indian guy.

Clean and quiet room

When I arrived at 12:45 AM, there was no one available to check me in. I waited approximately 40 minutes and there was a line of customers behind me at that point. The staff member woke up and checked me in. He did not have all of his paperwork prepared, but gave me a key anyway at 5:45 AM. He called my room saying that he needed the deposit. I went downstairs after three hours of sleep gave him the deposit went back to my room tried to go to sleep at 7:20 AM. Another staff member came and knocked on my door, requesting the deposit which I had already paid. I got a total of 3 1/2 hours sleep yet they still charge me the full amount I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all cost.

The staff was amazingly helpful! Pool was great!
