Super 8 by Wyndham Macon GA

It was mid range cheap, and room was mostly clean. The check in was easy and the staff was kind and helpful but that is about all that can be said. Our door to the room ws difficult to close or open, the glass patio door was not easy to secure (broken lock and poor security bar, flimsy at best) There was no soap or tissues in the bathroom, and the water ran chalky when first turned on. The pool and hot tub area was a complete biohazard, everything broken, exposed boards, and green water with a sinking cover. AC in the room was functional , but extremely dirty and mold /dust covered. Our refrigerator was running, but never got below room temperature. Remote for the tv did not seem to do anything but turn the TV on and flip between different input settings. Applebees is next door, which is nice. There is alot of parking. The lobbys is clean , orderly, and the breakfast bar was ample. However , it's quite rundown and in a severe state of disrepair in every other aspect. Holes in the wall, and broken doors can't be covered with cheap lvp and new paint.

The place was nasty. Bugs!!! We had a nonsmoking room; however, the hallway was full of smoke we had to put a towel under door to keep smoke out. The only positive was the guy at the front desk. He was extremely welcoming.

The first room we had the tub was dirty. The second room was clean,no blow dryer, or tissues. The tub leaked through the wall into the room. The sink faucet leak some when it was turned on. The bed was nice, towels and washcloths were all clean. The staff we dealt with checking in and checking out the next day were both very nice. I think anything else I wouldn’t stay there again but

The person who checked us in was a very nice, friendly guy! It put us in a good mood.

Location. Value. Breakfast. Comfort and cleanliness Older building so there's signs of wear and tear but you can tell they try to keep it best as possible.
