Cambria Hotel St Petersburg-Madeira Beach Marina

Very good

I absolutely loved my stay here. From the kindness of the staff to the amazing views from the rooftop pool which included live music Friday night! The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are all so welcoming and helpful. Valet was a surprise but honestly worth it to unload the car in shade and not have to fight for parking. Will most definitely stay again and recommend to friends wanting to atay in the area.

This property is a short walk to the beach.

Rooftop pool was nice. Hot tub was mildly warm and jets were broken. Rooftop restaurant food was average and over priced. Service at rooftop bar and restaurant was very friendly. Views of sunset from rooftop Adirondack chairs was lovely. We stayed from Monday to Thursday and never had our room cleaned or serviced despite requesting it. Apparently they will not clean your room more than once every 3 days but even when I requested it on the 3rd day they still never came. The location is decent with an easy walk across the street to the beach and also convenient Beach Trolley access which we used to go down to John’s Pass for restaurants and boat trips (sunset cruise, lots of dolphin sightings, and shell island) The area around the hotel is decent but I wouldn’t describe it as classy or high end. There were several interesting people hanging around the 7-11 across the street. I wouldn’t say we felt unsafe but it also is not what I would describe as a high end area. Personally if I went back (which I most likely would not choose to) I would request a room with an actual balcony. Our room doors opened onto a public terrace overlooking the water which seems like it would be a nice view but we literally had to keep our curtains 100% closed the entire time because there were people walking around right outside our glass doors.

The Hotel is in general very nice, rooms, rooftop pool / bar all good. When leaving the room at checkout, housekeeping wasn't the friendliest, we had our service dog with us, which was checked in with all papers (ESA).

The restaurant next door had an amazing staff and outstanding food!!!

Couldn’t have been more pleased with a booking. Hotel was all we expected, clean, comfortable beds, convenient to area activities. Pool on the roof was made for sunning and enjoying a great view of the ocean, bar staff at the pool made you feel like you were the only customers they had.

The upper deck pool/bar area was really nice. Plenty of shade in the bar area. We celebrated the sunset each night--as the view over the ocrean was amazing! There was a reggae guitar man who was great and the karaoke on Saturday night in that area was fun. The only ding was that the pool water was not cool or cold. Granted, it was hot, but having cool water for a refreshing dip is a must, Hopefully that will be corrected. Still gave it 5 stars, kind of like an A- , deducting for a very warm pool.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kids loved the pool. The hotel is in the perfect spot. You can walk to the beach or watch the sunset from the pool on the 6th floor. We are definitely coming back for another stay.
