Kimpton Taconic Hotel by IHG

The hotel was beautiful very tranquil. Lots to see and do. The staff were friendly and attentive to the guests. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The staff there were also friendly. It was so peaceful in the mountains and the hotel grounds were beautiful.

Truly felt vacationed with the beauty and comfort of the property. Staff …. Super friendly! If traveling w a dog, this is the place to be. The salt water pool was wonderful after a long stroll through the beautiful town of Manchester. I’ll be coming back!

The lobby and rooms were well maintained and clean. Daytime hotel staff was professional and friendly. Nighttime staff, although may have been doing his job, was curt when inquired about the bar (closed) and fire pit access (“if it’s on. Otherwise, I don’t have the key for it.” A bunch of us sat on the front porch that evening but many retreated early as the temperatures dropped. Although our stay (6/24-6/25/26) was brief, not having access to anything except for our room, lobby, porch, and hallway seating, the lack of access to reasonable accommodations was disappointing.

Had to drive to Center of Town. Could use a much larger gift shop.

A little overboard on the pride flags and and pushing the pride stuff on everybody but otherwise a nice place to stay

I can’t say enough about the Frontenac. The staff was sincerely friendly and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. We left the Fairmont Frontenac to head back to Connecticut. When we got back, my sister realized she left her Kindle in her room. We called to see if it had been found. They put us on hold got right back to us and said they had it and would send it to her address. The location is ideal. The rooms are immaculate. The people that came to our rooms for the turndown service. We’re very sweet with big smiles on their face as they brought us freshwater/free every evening. This is the third time I’ve been to the Frantenac. I’m sure it won’t be our last.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It’s close to restaurants but is also quiet with lots of cozy common space. It’s dog-friendly, has a great social hour and restaurant, and the morning coffee is delicious!

Great spot in Manchester! Perfect for families or couples!

Great location, the room was super clean and the service was excellent.

The room we were in had no night stand and the king bed was about 18” from the door to the bathroom. Very poorly laid out. Very disappointed as we have stayed here in the past and had very much enjoyed it.

Staff, cleanliness, ambience, restaurant, all perfect! We can’t wait to return!

Stayed here twice. Both times were excellent. Dogs are welcomed and they do a great job making your pets feel welcomed as well.
