Convenient, price, clean. The bed / mattress was terrible, the toilet was way too low, hard getting up. Had trouble adjusting the heat/air conditioning system.

Staff was friendly & helpful. Given that it was full, it was surprisingly quiet, which was very nice. Breakfast is always well stocked & there is always coffee & homemade cookies.

We drove 2 hours to visit Manistee with my husband and 8 year old. We checked in, dropped off bags and quickly left to meet friends. Came back later that night to realize the room was moist, the beds and sheets felt moist, there was mold on the walls in the bathroom, stains all other the carpet in the bathroom and to top it off drug paraphernalia under one of the queen beds. We called customer service right away the next morning, checked out early and I noticed the manager, Chuck, who started to argue with me when I told him how nasty the hotel was. His response, “I have to disagree with you. The hotel is nice you just had a bad room.” Completely undermining what I was saying I felt unheard so I repeated myself. He then says, “why do you feel the need to repeat yourself?” I told him because he’s dismissing my complaint and making it sound invalid.
