Quality Inn Manitowoc

It was a place to sleep for the night. That's about it.

When we got to the hotel to check in, there was no one at the front desk, so I rang the bell after waiting for a minute or so. A girl came up from the back and seemed annoyed that I rang the bell, and said "I'm coming". Our room was on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but my knee is bone and bone, so the stairs were not fun. Breakfast was very minimal, almost insulting. Cereal, waffles and what I am guessing is generic Little Debbie's. The only plus to this place was the rooms were surprisingly clean (the rest of the hotel smelled musty, like stale smoke, and run down/dated). Beds were uncomfortable. This was the cheapest option for a last minute hotel in Manitowoc, but it is definitely not worth what we paid.

Shower took a minute to warm up, but the staff was nice, rooms were plenty good.

The breakfast was basically waffle and nothing else no syrup.

When we saw the room, we knew we weren’t going to stay there. Smelled bad, dark and clammy, We left and stayed elsewhere. Don’t stay here.

Our room needed some upkeep. Sheer curtain had huge tears in it and the bedspread had stains and holes in them. Bathtub faucet kept dripping even when we never turned it on.

Very little food for breakfast, junk piled in parking lot,

I chose to sleep in and skip breakfast, however housekeeping was so loud (talking) I could not sleep.

See below for my reply. I couldn't find anyone who spoke English to get more information about the breakfast. When I arrived (before 10 a.m.,) the breakfast appeared to be over. There was nobody at the desk and the two employees couldn't understand my question about when breakfast ended.

Better than expected for the cheapest room available. Very short overnight stay, no complaints although the breakfast left a little to be desired.

The breakfast was good and staff was nice The room had water damage all over, it smelt like mildew and there was an unmentionable liquid on the bed skirt when we got there.

Room had roaches and dirty sheets. Absolutely horrible. Staff was nice.

Pillows were covered in hair and the carpet was stained due to age. Shower head was broke and leaking. Tub faucet was leaking and dripping. 2nd time staying here in 3 years, but won't be staying again.

The staff seemed very inexperienced. Could not find the reservation. There is no elevator so we had to carry several bags up stairs. The room was $300 for a low quality hotel. I will never book a room there again.

This hotel is very run down. It smelled terrible in the hallways not so much in the room. Kind of a combination of moth balls and pot. The rooms had a lot of wear and tear. The pillows were small and too fluffy. I would not recommend staying here. We had very few options unfortunately but definitely did not get our $200+ out of our stay for one night. Also the breakfast was pretty pitiful.

Not clean. Badly needs updating. Bathroom door would not shut. Avoid this property. Breakfast was also a poor selection. Not worth $167! The guy who checked us in acted like we were bothering him! 😳

It’s right off the highway I booked a king room and was told I couldn’t have one upon arrival. The window in my room wouldn’t shut, one of the faces of a drawer was nailed on, the carpet was dirty and the shower had a constant drip that was super loud and annoying.
