Riad Zahir is located in the heart of Marrakech’s Old Medina, just a 10-minute walk from Jemaâ El Fna Square and the Koutoubia. The traditionally designed riad offers a patio with palm trees, setaing areas and a plunge pool. The air-conditioned guest rooms feature a traditional décor and a view of the patio. They each include a seating area and a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served every morning at Riad Zahir, and guests are invited to relax on the property’s sun terrace. I like the warm hospitality in general by the staff. We are greeted with moroccan mint tea and we are given a map and the woman who welcomed us talked us through the recommended places to visit and restaurants to go to. This is the second Riad we stayed in and my husband chose this becuase of its neutral hues. The breakfast area was also nice and cozy. It was indoor because it has been raining during our stay. There is also a heater in the room where we had breakfast. Lilly the cat is the sweetest!! My husband had a chance to talk with the owner who was also very kind and nice to us.

The staff were very welcoming, offering tea every single time we entered the property from being out and about in the city. The breakfast was great, location was ideally centered between many of the major attractions, and the property itself was beautiful. The medina is a tad noisy at night, that isn't the fault of the property but we could hear it all. If you have a noise machine or play some white noise from your phone it should help.

Lovely riad, cosy and calm, nicely decorated. Perhaps less glamorous than others, but welcoming and stylish. Special mention of the house cat. She’s beautiful. The breakfast a good, but it would be nice to have a savoury choice.

Property is charming and clean. Bed was rock hard! And the gases (hydrogen sulfide) from the pipes were very strong specially at night.

Lovely authentic Riad, beautifully furnished. Guests have access to the rooftop and little « pool ». Staff was discreet yet always there when needed. Very friendly and helpful. Great location in the Medina. We liked everything and have no complaints !

Relaxing Riad Beautiful Riad centrally located in the Medina, minutes away from Souks and Bacha Coffee. Staff were super friendly and helpful, served up delicious Moroccan breads for breakfast with honey and preserves. Incredibly quiet and relaxing with a comfy bed and a beautiful deep traditional Moroccan bath. Cash payment is preferably upon arrival but bank transfer details will be provided in advance if requested. Staff organised the transfer from and to the airport which was brilliant.
