Extremely friendly and helpful staff (Hassan and Said) that not only welcomed us warmly with tea and maps with potential places to see, but also helped us sort out getting to and from the airport and the train station. They also offered to help with many other things like trips, dinners, etc. Breakfast was great, and it was very clean with good overall vibes. Not much to complain about!

The owners were friendly, you can walk to most places Uncomfortable room, very small bed, room felt moist, lack of facilities. Neighbourhood was uncomfortable

The host and the staff were incredible, really made you feel at home and Tariq was so friendly, helpful and lovely. They work so hard there. The Road is beautiful. The noise was really loud in the alley and kept us awake all night but it wasn't their fault. The beds are very hard so that's your taste. Also, the shower head didn't stay on the wall so we had to hold it to clean ourselves therefore we couldn't wash our hair. The pillows were very hard, again your preference but not for me. These were all little things but because of the service we got it didn't matter as we really enjoyed our stay. The location is close to the Medina but down a sketchy alley where we felt quite intimated by men trying to help them asking for money for helping us which we didn't like so you really need to know where you're going once you get there. The taxi can't take you all the way to the actual riad so you have to get out and walk a bit so Google maps is a must!!

The property is very clean, organised and portraits the expected culture identity. Nil

The staff is polite and ready to help. It is quite close to the old medina and walkable distance of about 20mins to the Jemaa El Fnaa which is good but these were the only positives. Price too high for what is offered. The Riad has a rule of no food, no drink within the premise and the common decency of providing a bedside fridge with water or even providing water was not made. It's outrageous to think that you will pay 100 - 300 euro per night for a riad and you can't get simple amenities. The pool was very small, breakfast is the same thing everyday, cups were so dirty I could see dried dirt's on the body of the glass cups. The most saddening part is you are now asked to pay another 2euro per person per night for city tax after paying almost 100 euros per night in Morrocco. We had to leave for an Airbnb that were much more cheaper, in better locations and offer much more amenities. This is my first time in a Riad and definitely the last as well. Not a good experience, however, the guys were quiet nice and supportive but the facilities were ridiculous and outrageous for the amount charged. Definitely not worth the money

We've just come back from 5nts at riad Iklil. What a great property, lovely and clean, lovely staff especially Enis who looked after us. Highly recommend this place and would definitely go again.

Very clean and tidy rooms, which were cleaned on a daily basis. All members of staff were very helpful and Anis was very attentive and always gave us time, listened well and gave us helpful tips. Bathrooms were not entirely separate from the bedrooms, a curtain in place rather than a door and only partly partitioned off. Not ideal for a family but not a deal breaker.

The room was perfectly set up for us. Dinner was served hot and fresh at 2:00am. We flew in from USA. Leaving!! Haha

It was a haven inside. Really lovely. Very cool and exceptionally clean The dining area was outside which was a bit chilly first thing in the morning but that's probably only at this time of year.

The location was not easy you have to walk in long Ailey with your luggage no car or taxi can come there

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom and shower room very comfortable and clean. A little difficult navigating around near the Riad but made much easier by the staff meeting us and taking us to main area. Nothing else.

Moises He was super hospitable, always helping you with everything. He was a very good person. The poor guy barely slept because he was serving the Riad's clients at any time. He was super attentive and the experience was very good. I am very happy to have come here. To be honest I had a great experience in the riad you’ll definitely live morroco in depth

The staff is all really lovely , accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was great and the bed was lovely and comfortable The pictures online don’t really say the true. The hotel looks much bigger and majestic specially the swimming pool. The spa mentioned on the name doesn’t really exist a part from the massage room.

Our stay was absolutely superb! The caretaker, Mohsina, is an incredible person who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Despite our short stay, he was always available and eager to assist us with anything we needed. His kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. Highly recommended! The location on Google Maps was a bit inaccurate, so I’d advise travelers not to rely solely on it. Some local guides may try to charge excessive fees to take you to the property. To avoid any inconvenience, it’s best to communicate directly with the host before your arrival for accurate directions.

This was our first visit to Marrakesh or Moracco. We wanted to feel we were really there, so we chose a Riad instead of a hotel. We were in the heart of the Medina. We needed help to find our way around. Mohsine, who worked there, took us under his wing. He assisted with make arrangements for guides, or private cars, even once following the car to be sure we got to the right place to meet up for our food tour. Because we didn't speak the language, Phone calls were made for us to be sure those assisting us knew to take care of us. The room and breakfast and one dinner there were top notch. .Our stay was enhance by the entire staff treating us like family. We would stay with this Riad again on any subsequent visits. All was wonderful

The roof terrace was fine and the coffee was good. The room did not have any ventilation or window and therefore had a bad humid smell. Several times the host tried to charge us more than agreed, first for pickup from airport (we never saw the driver) and later for the meals. We also did not like the fact that the host said that it was dangerous to eat outside the riad. The riad is hard to find due to the small alleys, in addition the Google maps location is not correct.

    Exceptional

I spent two wonderful days in this riad with my mum and even booked an extra night because we liked it so much. The transfer from the airport was straightforward and we were picked up in a taxi which cost 220 DH (not included in the price). As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Momsine and immediately treated to tea and biscuits. The hospitality was simply fantastic! We would particularly like to highlight the support of Momsine and Mariam, who helped us a lot with the planning and organisation of our activities such as quad biking and our trip to Essaouira. It's not always easy to find your way around a new country, but their help made everything so much easier. We are incredibly grateful for that! The riad itself was a real dream - beautifully decorated, with spacious rooms and a breakfast that was fresh and delicious every morning. Overall an unforgettable experience that we would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for everything! XXX
