Wonderful place run by wonderful people

Great location, although it was a little tricky to find at first. Thankfully, Adel met me at a central location and escorted me to the riad. The rooftop was beautiful, and while I didn’t have time to use the pool, it looked very inviting. The room was stylish, the mini-split A/C worked perfectly, and the breakfast was delicious. Very little to dislike. It can be a bit difficult to find the first time, but the staff went above and beyond to help, making it a non-issue.

The transportation to and from the airport was amazing and very timely! The staff here is the best and and everything was organized perfectly. In addition, it is in a great location and close to a lot of the fun things. Would recommend staying here.

Nothing Very difficult to find, we arrive late at night and had to walk through a few narrow and dark alleys.

Riad Origines was amazing. It was located right in Medina, and close walking distances to all the main attractions we wanted to visit. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and very comfortable. One thing we loved was the private rooftop and terrace which we ended up using all the time during our stay! Adil was a very generous and accommodating host and made it a seamless experience. No complaints! Our stay was great.

Riad Origines has been nothing but amazing!? The transports from the airport and back were very smooth. We were happily welcomed and accomodated, though we came early than our check in time as well as allowed to keep our stuffs after we check out. Adil gave us instructions on were to go and how to go to different areas which was very helpful. He also taught us of the best spots to have coffee and dinner. Everything was just of walking distance. The welcome tea and biscuits were REALLY GOOD! The riad itself was beautiful, peaceful and clean. Just as how it looked in the photos. We loved the terrace! Above all,Adil and the rest of the staffs were really really nice. They easily answered all our queries, helped us with our concerns and even prepared a surprise breakfast treat for my birthday which I really appreciated.❤️ Lastly, their traditional hammam and massage is such an experience.

Staff very helpful before and during our stay. The manager even helped us to print our boarding passes, walked us to and from taxis he had pre booked for us and was very accommodating, allowing us to leave luggage secure for the day after checking out before our return flight. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and comfy. Breakfast was an excellent, including eggs freshly cooked, local breads, pancakes and cake with various jams, honeys and spreads. The rooftop terrace was a lovely space to relax after a day of exploring! It felt very clean, comfy and safe. It is quite a fair walk to the main square and attractions. The walk from the main square to the riad involves walking through the souks. At night the souks are not well lit with many doors closed creating dead ends and making it hard to navigate. There was a real feeling of unease during the walks back to the Riad.

The breakfast was incredible! I'd say that the bathroom was also quite well equipped with very nice complimentary shower gel and shampoo. The vibe and the atmosphere were also very nice and it allowed us to fully relax from the rush of the medina outside! The neighbourhood was at times a bit rough - I guess that is everywhere in the medina! The room layout was a bit funny since the bathroom was upstairs and there was not much space around the bed - luckily we travelled only with backpacks and a small suitcase so we managed! The host wasn't particularly kind but he may have had busy day. We still got all that we needed!

Riad itself is very clean and well decorated. Our room are spacious and very comfy bed. Staffs are so helpful and friendly. The location is good, not far from the souk. It’s quite a walk from the main street but you’ll enjoy seeing local groceries shop and real local lifestyles. It’s not really what I don’t like but I think it’s something that Riad Origins can improve. Firstly, The choice of breakfast, I love their traditional breakfast but sometimes we need more protein to run our day. It’d be nice to have an extra choice, like meats and eggs and of course it’s additional. Secondly, Breakfast to go would be super cool, I’m sure that some customers like us would choose to take a day trip. The trip started earlier before breakfast time. It’d be nice to have maybe just orange juice, some fruits and small bread.
