The parking was close and safe. The night staff when we arrive was excellent. From all the great reviews I was expecting something a little better.

The housekeeping staff were wonderful and they were so attentive in helping us, in whatever way we needed. They would bring us fresh towels every day. The building smells clean. Rooms are clean. The breakfast, it’s completely different from other places I’ve stayed at, it’s excellent. If I would’ve known about this place before I would’ve stayed there since my first time visiting Marshall. Now, I won’t make the same mistake again. This will be the only hotel I’ll be staying at.

From check in to check out, my stay was ideal for what I needed.

Lobby was remodeled well, but the rest of the hotel has mildew problems and wallpaper falling off the hall walls

Very clean and comfortable room; friendly, helpful staff; vibrant lounge in the lobby; hot buffet breakfast; pet friendly. A very nice place to stay.

Our stay at this location was Outstanding. The room met all of my needs which is extremely important as I am disabled and wheelchair bound. The room was clean, wheelchair accessible and most importantly the bathroom and shower were ADA compliant. The bed was comfortable after getting up on it but it was too tall for disabled guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything and everything. The breakfast food was great as was the eating area. I would recommend this hotel location to anyone needing a safe, clean & comfortable stay while in Marshall, Texas.

Good location. Needs serious updates- room needs painting- especially the bathroom- would not stay there again.

We were given a room on 2nd floor with NO elevator, a disabled veteran and a service dog we had to carry bags to 2 stairwells baggage dogs and ourselves, no coffee in our room and 1 towel!

The rooms are beautiful and well maintained by the housekeeping staff on a daily basis. The pool water was clear and somewhat too warm in temperature... Would've liked to see some potted plants &/or palms on the pool deck... (We noticed several instances where pool tiles had popped off. Sad to see that!) Perhaps some fake plants in pots or planters on the pool deck that require zero water or maintenance are acceptable... Anything to break up the stark plain deck surface. Also loved the gazebo... A ceiling fan would've added a breeze to keep us cooler in the shade. The breakfast was delicious and has a great variety. Sadly, the girl manning the station was somewhat inhospitable... No greeting for the guests as we ended the breakfast area... Too interested in her own phone!! The reception staff: Morgan, Ashley, & Rachel were exceptional with their hospitality & service oriented approach. They offered cookies & water... So appreciated!!

Evening front desk lady was very nice and helpful. Took it upon herself to move us to first floor rooms due to elevator not working. Great breakfast too. Nice big rooms.

We were in an accessible room. The shower was great rain head was very nice. Room was clean, but the bathroom is dated, but everything was functional. Bed was comfortable and the TV was also functional. The Wifi was a little difficult, but our desk lady came down to help us out. Breakfast was normal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, all the cereal, breads and other items as expected.

Hotel smells HORRIBLE. It is overpowering from the moment you step into the lobby. Smell changed to another nasty odor from within our room. Mildew, old ran down walls, sinks, plumbing, windows. Found a black curly hair in our bed when pulling down sheets to try and sleep for even a few hours before having to do another all day drive. Shower and sink hit water is scolding hot. Worst smelling place I have EVER visited in my life. Its taken all day to get that smell out of my system. A blend of urine, mildew, damp smells.
