Best Western Plus St. Louis West-Westport

During my stay, multiple vehicles in the hotel parking lot, including mine, were broken into overnight. Dealing with the damage and disruption was stressful enough, but what has been even more frustrating is the lack of communication afterward. For the past week, I have tried contacting the hotel every day and have left multiple messages for management. I have not received a single response. I understand that hotels cannot always prevent criminal activity, but they can choose how they respond when guests are affected. A simple return phone call or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up has left me feeling that guest concerns are not taken seriously. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.

Room needed to have been dusted, may not of been used recently. Refrigerator and microwave worked. Plenty of towels supplied. Bed comfortable. Chair hard. Elevator not working one morning and took a while to get someone there to fix it. Breakfast warm to cold everyday. Could warm up in microwave. Had exact same thing each weekday but slightly different on weekend. Yogurt was delicious! Trash cans were overflowing. Told staff someone had spilled milk on floor and never did clean up. The guy sat on his phone and did very little to manage the breakfast area. The girl did a much better job. Didn’t use pool. Looked nice. Had a small workout room and laundry area if needed.

I stayed at this property because the reviews were good and it said a favorite for families. My car was broken into along with 5-7 other cars. The front desk gave us all business cards with instruction to email the manager. It has been a week and I have called every day and the manager is never available and never returns my calls or email. During my stay a maintenance worker entered my room while I was inside to fix a thermostat because he thought the room was empty, no knock or announcement. I called the corporate phone number and they are not able to give me any money back for my stay to help with the $500 cost of replacing my window. This is not a safe place to stay and their customer service is nonexistent. I travel A LOT and have never had this poor of customer service.

The only thing that bothered me was people smoking pot right by the doors. Other then that it was an excellent stay.

Clean and organized. Quiet area.

Loved the location. Obvious that it is being renovated. Beautiful bathroom. Nice breakfast area. Easy parking.

Front desk staff and cleaning service The only one thing that was wrong was that the pool was not open if I had known that I would have stayed somewhere else

The room had no ironing board or Iron,the breakfast was ok just the same thing every morning,we there for a baseball tournament,chair had stains on it we were told that they would give us a sheet to cover it,we were there for june 22-26 but we left on the 25th and they claimed that they couldn't give us a refund for the 25th,some of the staff act like they didn't know their job,we always stay at Best westerns and this one in Maryland Heights were the worst I won't ever book this hotel again.....

Elevator is old and was not working on last day of stay. Ice machines were down. Seems property is need of some maintenance in general.

The location was very good!! Close to gas station, close to the Hollywood Amphitheatre and close to a Weed Store! There was a massive leak in the bathroom sink! Everytime I turned it on it sprayed water all around so I had to wrap a towel around the faucet to keep my products from getting wet. The bed was also kinda hard, big but hard. Other than that it was good.

Once in the room, the door was hard to shut. The bathroom floor was wet and when I went I bathe, there was no stopper in the tub. Having slippery waxed floors in a handicapped room is not ideal. I am recovering from hip surgery and thought I had everything covered to aid me with getting around. Only decaf coffee in the room. Had to ask for regular coffee. This hotel has seen better days and it is evident throughout the entire facility. I will not stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean and it was close to restaurants

Loved the location! The Quick Trip across the street was a life saver. Room could have been cleaner when we arrived. Only 1 of the four ice machines were working.

The floors in the room was sticky. It didn't feel very clean.

Believe the reviews. I thought it couldn’t be that bad but was proven wrong the moment we opened the door. We booked a 3 night stay and left first thing in the morning after the first night. Bugs in the bed, public hair in the bed. Couch was so disgusting and stained we didn’t even want to sit on it. Asked for new sheets and they brought them up and just handed them off. Not sure what I was expecting but maybe help us change the bed after we told them what was on the old sheets. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Outlets popping out of the wall. The bed creaked every time there was a little movement like rolling over that woke everyone up. Breakfast was fine. Nothing special. My mistake for booking non-refundable room. Just left and didn’t check out so they could make more money off of someone else.

Stayed one night - in town for an awesome concert! Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, decent breakfast in the morning. Met all of our needs- would definitely stay again!
