Best Western Plus McCall Lodge & Suites

Location was good, staff was the best part. Breakfast was only ok, but the coffee was good. There were homeless people, of which I'm sorry for their situation. But, when you pay that price for a room, I would appreciate them not mingling in the breakfast room.

The pool was amazing for the kids! Jonathan at the front desk so was nice and accommodating making sure my sister and I had rooms next to each other. Probably the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had. The washer and dryer were great as we had a car sick kiddo on the way there. Will absolutely be staying again! Thanks again Jonathan for all your help!

Pet friendly and staff was fantastic.

We traveled as a family and chose the breakfast option, but we were a bit disappointed because my wife has Celiac Disease and there weren't many options for her to eat. The potatoes, sausage, and eggs, when we asked, were described as “gluten-free,” but unfortunately, cross-contamination occurred, and when we tested for gluten with our gluten detector, it detected gluten. I hope more places will consider people with food allergies. Staff was really friendly, and the facilities were where I have no complaints about that.

The staff is typical McCall low level service people, they are nice enough but not very well trained and obviously don't want to be there. I get it, they don't make a decent living wage there, and the staff is in McCall for reasons other than hospitality. If you need a place to stay, its not horrible. But for a couple hundred more, I would say go with a VRBO - they have a lot of options in McCall that would make it a better trip. The breakfast was OK, standard cheap motel offering. Waffles, powdered eggs, greasy bacon, sausage. The coffee in the lobby is terrible, But they have an espresso machine in the breakfast room that was OK. I would avoid it if I could, but not a horrible place either.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were spotless, and the location is perfect. Plus, it’s super pet-friendly—my dog absolutely loved the green spaces on the property!

We liked the pool being open 24 hour.

The staff was very friendly even making us feel at home away from home. The fresh baked cookies and 24/7 pool access were a definite plus and distinctly different than other hotels. Maybe just a little more ventilation in the pool area...the chlorine burned our eyes even when not swimming. The extra bed did cost which was not an experience I had had before. Other than that it was great.

The breakfast was so good. The pool was cold but the hot tub and sauna were awesome. The receptionist was very nice and gave us cookies when we arrived. She also recommended a great breakfast spot when we were leaving. No complaints
