Scandia Inn

Room was delightful. Extremely clean. Easy walk to all the downtown activities. Warm & quaint. Beds were great. No complaints

We did not eat at the Scandia. We ate at local restaurants. We need to contact the Inn about an item we left. No local phone number.

location was within walking distance to the lake/beach and restaurant areas.

Thin towels & torn, stains on sheets, no Kleenex, shower rust spots in corners. shower not level so hard for doors to stay closed, water pressure not good & huge grap under main door for light, dirt and smoke to come in. NEighbors were so noisy could hear every step on floor they took next door to us.

Nice location, close to town. The outside area of the property was great as well as lobby. Rooms nicely decorated. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The mattress was too soft and sloped to one side. The air conditioner made a very loud vibrating sound keeping us up throughout the night. The water pressure in the shower was very low, which caused more time to rinse off soap and shampoo etc. When we checked in the person was quite rude and unwelcoming. However we had a kind younger lady treat us very well later that day and she apologized for the bad attitude of the person who checked us in.

Location No one to help in lobby. No water for coffee no breakfast as ad said. Steps a safety issue. Room cleaning bed made only.

I thought they should have offered something besides a breakfast bar for the price. I also didn’t like the fact that the blinds opened and people could look in or you had to close them and have a dark room. I feel curtains would work in addition to blinds.

Jacuzzi, cleanliness of room, staff during checkin. Sauna didn't warm up after 20 minutes

Location Room would not cool - a/c was not working and when we had it on - it buzzed loudly. We put milk in the small frig only to find it wasn't plugged in, sheets are bed were cheap and scratchy, the shower doors were more than 1/2" too short and left pools of water in the bathroom.

The grounds were clean and mostly quiet. Its close enough to downtown, but gives you the feel of being in the woods. The deer were there several times a day.

Great location and staff were excellent, hot tub and fire pit are a bonus Couldn’t stay longer hahaha

perfect location, close to downtown and quiet. Comfortable outside sitting areas and other amenities available that are easy to use. Snacks and coffee/hot cocoa available next to office plus some options for breakfast food.

Love love loved the sauna and hot tub. Came up for a weekend get away and the evenings in the sauna was the highlight. Parking was great, room was very clean. A microwave in the room would have been nice, but having one in the breakfast room worked out lovely. Bit of a gap under the front door let a couple spiders in the room which the girlfriend wasn't in love with... but not a huge deal haha

I like the property and location and have stayed there numerous times. The staff doesn't seem to be doing any work. It was nearly impossible to step down from the motel walkway outside my door to the drive to get in my car because of all the snow that has been allowed to turn to ice. They plowed the snow up to the walkway and then didn't shovel so it's a mess. The driveway down to the main road is all ice as well. I had to put my van in 4x4 to get up there. I'm the breakfast room no one had emptied the garbage in days. It was overflowing.

We had a great stay. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Top tier Motel. Prices were a little high for what it was though.

Clean rooms

The bed and towels were clean, staff was friendly. Had a lot of different coffees and snacks in the lobby. The floors were not very clean. Bed wasn’t comfortable. And on our second night the guests next door had little kids running around, slamming doors, and seemed like they were constantly right outside our room.
