Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta South/McDonough

When we arrived they claimed our room was unavailable cause of a leak, no one called or emailed to explain and we drove 4 1/2 hrs only to be placed somewhere else. I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED because they were very nonchalant about it.

Our room was very stuffy and we weren’t able to keep it cool due to the bathroom not having ventilation. Which left our room hot and muggy. Also hallways were hot seem to have no air flowing hotel elevators blew hot air in and out. Breakfast was expensive and not worth it bacon and sausage were dry and not flavorful. Eggs dry no taste. Overall hotel wasn’t worth the money.

Generally my stay was quite good. I would have to say it appears that the hotel is not fully staffed as our room was not cleaned after day 2 of our 3 day stay. We had to ask to have room serviced. Other than this one issue, our stay was lovely.

We booked this facility for my son's wedding night. We wanted to have the room decorated for the bride and groom. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. They loved the room and enjoyed their stay. Thank you so much to the staff for all of your help.

Per usual, our stay at this hotel was wonderful! I have one complaint! When we checked out on May 26, 2026, we were told that our receipt would be obtained from Expedia, however, your company states that we were supposed to receive a receipt from the hotel. That's bad communication or someone has told a lie! I need a copy of my receipt for the dates of May 22, 2026 through May 26, 2026!

I did not appreciate house keeping knocking on the door three times before 10am. I have never been late checking out of the hotel before. If you feel that it is necessary to knock on the door to remind people to check out by 11am, I feel you should do that at maybe 10:30.

The lady that checked me in was great and the lady that checked me out was great as well. The cleanliness was amazing. My huge issue is house keeping knocking on the door THREE times before 10am. If check out isn’t until 11am, then why come knocking on the door multiple times over an hour before check out time??? I have stayed at this Hilton hotel several times this past year and have NEVER checked out late. Just doesn’t make sense for house keeping to be like that.
