Best Western Plus McKinney Inn & Suites

Locatuon was convient. Breakfast was clean and well maintained. The room smelled like mold & mildew & a mystery smell. Beds were slanted down to headboards so if sleep in normal position, then unable to sleep and body aches. 2nd night I slept with feet to headboard and slept better but bed is still uncomfortable. The breakfast area was so small that it did not fit the people for breakfast. There was no guide to the TV channels.

The stay was lovely, my check in was 3pm but unfortunately my flight was delayed I never arrived till 4am the next morning they still let me check in and let me stay an extra hour and thirty minutes past check out time. Breakfast was nice, room lovely, and staff went above and beyond. Will definitely be staying again.

Our stay was pretty amazing and very clean. I’d recommend this place for sure.

Exceptional

The exterior is pretty, clean and safe. The front desk staff was very nice. The elevator was a tad scary with some delays but it got us to our floor without problems. The breakfast was good. Coffee was good. I would stay there again.

The $100 incidentals fee was a surprise. It’s the highest we’ve paid during our road trip. Breakfast was satisfactory; you’ll always win with waffles. My hubby enjoyed the fancy coffee machine with multiple options. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I wouldn't recommend this chain ever. We had a project going on near there, so I booked the room for the week for our supervisor. The job got postponed a week, and we contacted the hotel before check-in time to move the reservation. They said they can't do that, it was non-refundable. We weren't asking for a refund, just moving the dates. They refused. I called corporate, and they offered the same response. This is not customer service at any level.

Clean property and good breakfast - large bedroom with lots of space. I felt very safe at night - the parking a lot was very well lit and had motion sensor lights. Also - the facility was quiet no noise complaints. Very clean bath and the room service was excellent. We got into the hotel around 8 o’clock at night and there’s a hot pot place nearby called King Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot and it was excellent. Highly recommend. The hallways did smell a little odd at first when we got to the hotel but then went away.

I upgraded to a suite starting with the couch it looked and felt like a couch from the 1950s with no back cushions. They were missing. The pillows on the bed are more like throw pillows and my sleeping pillows. I don't care for the pumps for your soap, shampoo and conditioner. I'd rather have a bar of soap. The kitchen was just the kitchen! Not even a coffee cup but drinking glass paper towels spoon nothing. To me it looked like they were trying to risk the construction and it wasn't put together well either.

Was very pleased with my stay. Nikki at the front desk was amazing and so wonderful. Cleanliness was top notch and breakfast choices were tasty!!
