Signature Inn Medford Downtown

Lovely stay. A lovely, lovely stay with kind staff and clean rooms.

It was a terrible choice as an overnight stop in the midst of several days of driving. We found it very hard to sleep there. The louvered coverings on the windows let in quite a bit of light from the outside, so the room was not dark. But the worst thing was that it was extremely noisy. In a downstairs room, we could hear every movement of the people above us which was going on until two in the morning. At which point we had lain awake for so long that we decided to just get up and start driving in the middle of the night.

The beds were great. The room was clean. It was renovated. But not that recent. I missed having facial tissue.

Staff was friendly enough, key card didn’t work so worker had to come into room to fix..some towels weren’t clean (had hair and stain) and toilet didn’t work to flush..it was late and we were tired so didn’t want to fuss with having him come back to the room..seems to be newly renovated but that doesn’t matter if stuff doesn’t work..disappointing after a long day of driving..not in a good location as well..wouldn’t be back

Rooms were newly and uniquely renovated. Spacious room with king bed. Would have liked more ways to hang clothing. Microwave was on lowest shelf in TV cabinet and was awkward to use. It also didn’t function as expected. (Microwave kept running even after pushing the button to open door. ). Would stay here again if in the area.

Excellent location and price. The place is clean and newly renovated. The beds were on the hard side.

It was clean and the beds were comfy I didn’t like where they put the microwave. They put it in a cabinet on the bottom shelf, push back to where we couldn’t see it and you had to get down on the floor just to use the microwave. The room was located next to some kind of mechanical item that was noisy all day and night and part of the move-in process said that pet stay free or pet friendly but they don’t take cats or dogs that don’t make any sense.

I stopped here on a long drive back from Silicon Valley to Portland, and really just needed a clean and safe place to sleep. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this inn was. It’s newly remodeled and the bathroom is honestly stunning - the mirrors even have adjustable lighting! The owner/manager helped me out with a microwave issue (a freak equipment failure, not the fault of the hotel at all) at 11 pm, which was extremely appreciated. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable, which is not always true at budget hotels. For the price, you cannot beat the Signature Inn. Amazing value for the money and I’ll happily stay here again next time I pass through! It was a little difficult to check in after 9 pm and talk to the front desk staff through a window. Tough to hear with the cars driving past and made me a little concerned about the area (like if the lobby needs to be locked after 9 pm I worried it wasn’t a safe area to stay in - it ended up totally fine!)

hotel manager was extremely helpful when we had an issue with our first room. he also let us check in early. we had an enjoyable time!
