Hampton Inn & Suites Philadelphia/Media

Staff were nice when checking in and out. Our room was not done when we got there at 5:00. The cleaning staff were still in there and no one told us so we had to wait. Hot water took forever to get semi warm. One elevator was out and the other one was extremely slow. Breakfast was good though. We would stay again if we are in the area.

pool was perfect warm temperature! staff were all extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. will definitely come here again if i end up in philly again! thank you!

Everything and everyone were amazing The shower pressure is my only complaint. The room was beautiful and everything was very comfortable. But the shower pressure was HORRIBLE. Idk if the shower head was partially clogged or what

Location, staff TV didn't work, shower head was loose and so was shower handle, bugs in room. Mattress uncomfortable, pillows were so thin that even 2 stacked were not enough for a good night sleep. 1st floor icemaker broken.

Exceptional

No blackout curtains or curtains of any kind and the shade let in all kinds of light. I called to see if I can get another room that had curtains and was told that all of the rooms just have a shade. Additionally, there was all kinds of noises above me that sounded like rodents. When I called the front desk, they said it was probably just guests above me. I paid $205 for one night in this shit hole. never again.

The bad: The building is showing signs of premature wear due to cheap materials. The wet bar in our room was useless since there were no glasses of any kind, or a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine, or a bottle opener for beer. The front desk didn't have any either. The free breakfast was the cheapest imaginable, supermarket quality except a few days past a best-buy date, and everything we tried tasted so awful that we couldn't eat it. Even the coffee was so bad that we poured it down the drain. All cups, plates, and utensils were disposable plastic, showing the brand's disregard for the environment.

breakfast was standard fare, for most hotels. I appreciated how nicely stocked and clean things were. It was the 1st hotel i've stayed in that had a nightlight in the bathroom. Fantastic!! A working second elevator would have been good. Better coffee would have been nice.

Town of Media is great and close proximity to PHL. The pool was closed!

Superb

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel and the room was spacious. The front desk staff weren't very friendly, but the lady working in the dining area was. She greeted me when I walked into the dining room and we spoke several times (kind worker). The pool was small and the only microwave they had was near the front desk with the snacks available for purchase. One of the other guests cooked something and it left a terrible smell in the microwave. Even though the area contained several cameras, I was still being watched by one of the workers.
