Great location It was quiet and a very nice area. Short drive to get into Philly and the small community is very charming.

The only negative was the remote control for the tv was disgusting, very sticky.
-
beautiful!
-
Ok hotel but expensive for what you get when they have functions. Not worth it.
-
Great cute little hotel, friendly staff, highly recommend!

Staff was very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent.

Staff was very attentive and professional. The room was spacious and clean. The area had something for everyone. The lone anomoly was the restaurant. Well....a particular entree that was borderline inedible. I sat and ate some lovely appetizers. The wine was commendable. When I ordered dinner to take to the room, it almost ruined my entire stay. The early order of Samosas was heavenly. I can not, in good faith, recommend the Dan Dan Noodles. The presentation alone reeked of low quality fast food.....you know what....this is a review of the hotel. The restaurant is not indicative of how utterly amazing the hotel actually is. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the general area. You won't find a better lodging outside of Philadelphia.

The Inn is lovely, but I had a terrible nights sleep and experience. I went o bed around 11 and at 12:30 was awakened by loud banging in the hallway and loud voices coming through the walls. This persisted for 45 minutes before I finally called the desk. After about 15-20 additional minutes the noise finally stopped. Additionally at 5:45 am the room alarm clock - which I did not use - went off waking me again. I choose the Inn hoping for a quiet, restful night and got the opposite. I have never spent $200+ on a hotel room for an experience like this. When I shared this story with the front desk in the morning, they simply said “sorry, that was a wedding party.” When I shared my frustration, disappointment, exhaustion with the front desk and my belief that this was not a $200 experience, all I got was a simple sorry and an offer to extend check out an hour at no cost. The Inn is lovely, but my experience was the exact opposite of what I was expecting and the fact that nothing beyond a bland apology was offered for my disrupted night was not a good look. For a higher end establishment some form of compensation for a terrible night sleep- a room credit reduction, a complimentary breakfast, etc. - seemed like a minimum apology that was missed both in tone and substance. Lovely facility, disappointing experience.

Overall the property was good, other than coffee/tea there is option available as a curtesy or for purchase. being beverages and snacks or you will need to leave the premises if the restaurant isn't open.
-
Great hotel, clean, conveniently located, helpful staff.
-
The property was clean, it was easy to communicate with the staff as I had to check in late and the facilities are well maintained. Decent gym and everything was convenient.

The bartender at the bar was very attentive and answered all mt questions. When I'm in the area again will definitely stay again. This was my second time staying at the Swarthmore Inn

I was disappointed with my stay at the Inn at Swarthmore. While the staff was courteous, the condition of my room fell well below my expectations. The bathroom had a persistent sour odor that resembled urine, making it feel as though it had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The shower floor appeared to have black mold or significant t mildew buildup, which was both unsanitary and concerning. A clean, well-maintained rd room is one of the most basic expectations when staying at the Inn, and unfortunately, this room did not meet that standard. I hope management addresses these maintenance and housekeeping issues so other guests have a much better experience.

The Inn at Swarthmore is not only attentive & comfortable, it is also beautifully designed, filled with original art from former students, and surrounded by the gorgeous campus which features a variety of native & exotic plant species. It includes the Scott Arboretum, complete with walking paths and stunning gardens open to the public. The food at every meal was excellent - fresh, made to order, and reasonably priced. We loved having breakfast on the shaded patio, overlooking garden plots filled with lettuces and herbs for meals at The Broad Table Tavern. Service was friendly & professional. Across the street, the local community is small, perfect for strolling. And it's easy to get where you are going by car or nearby train. NO question about it - we have found our home when visiting Media. We are already looking forward to the beauty, comfort, food, and service the Inn and surroundings offer.

Wonderful property on wonderful campus. Only note for improvement is The Broad Table Tavern does not open for breakfast until 08:00, well after I had to leave each morning for work.
