Good cozy place to stay at in Merced.

The room was big enough for my whole family nice and clean and the air worked great

The hotel had only one other occupant as far as I could tell and we got placed right next to them. They had guests over, were loud and up late and woke us up many times having sex! Walls are more than thin. It was the hardest bed and we got 2 very thin pillows. The door isn’t right fit as there was a decent gap around the whole frame allowing air and bugs to get in. The picture is not what it looks like from the front, so much so I drove around a few times trying to find it thinking no way this run down hotel was it.

Staff was nice. Room was clean enough but could be cleaner. Appliances were old and some were broken. The place did not look nothing like the pictures we saw online when we booked. Our room had a hole on the floor and ceiling and for them to ask for a deposit that is crazy.

Toilet running on & off. Broken flap in tank. Bathtub plug broken, big hole in bath mat, no wash rags, broken toilet paper holder, no drain cover in sink, alarm clock kept time but you couldn't set alarm, main room light flickered, broken lamp shade, bedside lamp had 1 of 2 light bulbs out, and floor was dirty. The only good thing was the linens were clean and there was no sign of bed bugs.

Shower did not have any water pressure and no hot water. I had to use an ice bucket to take a shower.

Very clean and staff is friendly The bed was to firm for my liking, but my husband loved it

And here was an old coffee pad in the coffee maker. And the staff wanted me to pay cash for the deposit; they only agreed to using my card after I told them I must leave at 4am. I hope I will get my deposit back; planning to call them now.
