Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport

I wasn't told that they charge $15 to park in there parking lot. My card was charged $15 plus taxes and the man that checked me in said it was for incidentals only. This is my only complaint.

Our room was a very odd shape and set up. We chose a king sofa bed combo. Bed was very uncomfortable and hard. AC wasn’t working correctly and the toilet ran all night long. We could never get it to stop. We also found a used pair of contact lenses In shower. They were bright blue so idk how they were missed. The room was an odd set up almost like a dorm. With the sofa bed out there was no room to walk or sit in the chair. The fridge/microwave was in like a little weird cabinet in the corner that glowed all night long. Worst nights sleep I’ve had in awhile.

The room was very clean.

Great stay! I would only change one thing! I’d love a 4-4:30 shuttle since we typically take a 6 am flight.

Got there around 4pm and checked in. Our room was 85 degrees and the AC was not on/working. I went down to the front desk 3 times to ask about the AC unit. The desk girl stated “to use the unit itself & not the wall unit”. I tried and there was not any buttons on the unit to make it work. I went back down to the front desk and was told “the maintenance guy just went to do an airport run. He will check it when he gets back”. Nobody ever came to our room to check the unit. We finally got the wall unit to start working at about 9pm but it would go off & on after 15 minutes only. The unit was off and on all night and finally at 1am the unit kicked in & maintained the temperature. It finally got down to 72 degrees in our room. NOT acceptable!
