Super 8 by Wyndham - Mesa/Gilbert

Our first room had hair all over the toilet and sink. The next room was cleaner but we were place next door to two whining dogs. That started at 2 am and did not stop until the sun came up. The front desk called and knocked on the door when we discoved the dogs were left unattended all night. I believe that is a violation of the motel's rules. In the morning ir was a hastle to get our second night refunded so we could find another place, because the desk clerk said it was hard to move because the place was full of dogs. No mention of a refund for the first night.

Outside: trash and tons of cigarettes butter. Staff unable to find the reservation. On second day our entry card was deactivated. We had to ask to have it re-programmed. Do not recommend staying here!

I booked on Expedia it was smooth and easy. Front office staff was very helpful upon arriving. It was late, after 9 pm when we arrived and we were spent from being in heat all day. Our apartment ac is being repaired. The air in the room was cool, that was nice. The bed linens were clean, we went directly to sleep. In the morning light we realized that the bed was the only clean part of this room. The bathroom was gross, toilet had some sort of smear on the seat. Mirrors were dirty, walls, floors, light switches that we had touched, refrigerator all very dirty. Just terrible. I opened the curtains to get some light and there was some sort of nest w little Blk bugs, hoping those were spiders.. it was just about check out time and there’s was a knock on the door, I responded that I was on my way and she just entered that quickly. Housekeeping, I guess. Not sure what she does as this room didn’t show signs of any attention.

Had to move rooms because the upstairs tenent was walking and running all night. I couldn't sleep. so they moved me to a smoking room. Plus the AC was loud as a truck. I wish they gave me half my money back. Cause I left at 4 in the morning still with sleep.

Wasn't a bad stay. Parking lot was being resurfaced while I stayed which was a little inconvenient, but not horrible. There was what seemed like a faint cigarette smell in my room and the hall but other than that it was fine. AC was cold.

Other times the TV didn't work, refrigerator, or microwave. This time though, it was bad. I got checked in late. I went to my room. It was musty, but I just went to bed. The next morning I go to take a shower. It smelled like mold bad. Either maintenance painted over mold cause they have no common sense and lazy. Or they have an active mold problem. I did tell front desk in the morning!!! They want to try to charge people if there's damage but what about the people that are paying good money and have a rotten of a stay.
