Studio 6 Mesquite, Tx – Town East

Room smelled like weed, sheets were clean, TV ok, full kitchen size refrigerator, plenty of dishes, soft pillows, dark room minimal lights, chilly AC, nice dining table, welcoming lobby.

The lady at the front was very rude, I have been there numerous times, and the man (mike) is cool, but the woman is horribly rude

Location is right off the highway which was good for me. No cold water in the kitchenette or the sink on the bathroom.

The following day, after five hours of sleep, (ever been too tired to rest?) I asked the front desk for help taking a box back down to my vehicle, even though I had brought it upstairs. I guess anger makes one stronger. The front desk said they would try to find someone. About 20 minutes later, I opened the door for a clerk who was waiting for me with a laundry cart. She verified the box's weight, rolled it to the elevator, and waited for me to catch up, showing great patience. She was so nice, I tipped her with a gift card. (Fixed income, don't judge.) Surprised it had a kitchenette, now I know. It's an older property, but it works

All Had to be in pool area with gate locked

Office personnel was very helpful... I did however find a used condom in the trash.. The very first night of a 3 day stay.. I have photos. But overall this place was budget friendly. Breakfast is not all that. Not many options.

Room was dated but overall it was a good value staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed. Looks unsafe but stayed a week and had no issues at all .
