It’s new and clean. Close to the beach

The pool was great and the pool staff was amazing!

Unfortunately, we had a serious issue with our room. For two nights in a row, we woke up to water dripping from the ceiling onto the bed, with water also collecting on the floor and making it slippery. After the first night, the front desk told us not to open the balcony door. We followed their instructions, but the problem happened again. When we reported it a second time, we were told, “You’re in Florida—it’s condensation.” We were not offered a different room, a discount, or any other solution. We were also disappointed by the lack of clarity regarding fees. At check-in, we were told there was a “deposit,” but later learned that half of that was actually non-refundable fees. Parking was approximately another half deposit per day plus additional fees, and a 20% gratuity is automatically added to food and drink orders. The hotel has several good qualities, but for the price, we expected much better handling of a serious room issue and clearer communication about additional charges.

Beautiful hotel with great pool service!

The room was fine. I booked a beach view, but we were situated on the side of the building with a partial beach view. Also, we were out in the back corner of the hallway and doors were opening and closing constantly which was very loud in the early morning.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful! Smells amazing from when you first walk in. Restaurant bartenders were great, place is beautiful. Shopping center across the street beach at your footsteps. Pool area very big and clean. Great spot!

Negatives. Every time we tried to get an elevator (only 2/3 worked the 4 days we were there) they were filled with service workers. We asked many times if the service elevators were broken and they said no. In the scheme of things not the worst problem to deal with, but for a “resort” we expected to have staff use a separate elevator and not monopolize the two working ones for guests. The safe in the room is in the closet under a shelf. I’m 63 and in good shape, but had to get on my hands and knees to open and close it. Our sliding door on the balcony had a broken lock. We were on the 8th floor so not worried about someone breaking in from street level, but the balconies were inches apart and someone could have climbed over and gotten in the room. We had to pay a daily “resort” fee but were also charged to rent a beach umbrella ($35 for 3 hours). For the cost it would be unlikely we would stay at this resort again.

Great pool and beach access! Staff was great - very attentive!

I loved my experience here overall, very friendly staff, super attentive, clean rooms, and beautiful hotel, however, there are some hidden fees that you have to be careful of, that will be charged even if you don’t want to use those “amenities” or “benefits”

We were not informed about “RESORT FEES”, it’s a hotel, a charge for everything, parking your car, umbrellas on the beach. They say FREE WiFi but it’s not. Cute place, I’d stay there again but not for double the price I ended up paying

Hotel was clean and the decor is beautiful ! We enjoyed staying there. I honestly would stay there again !

A few things. First, the hotel is beautiful, it is recently renovated and the rooms and public spaces are stunning. The restaurant is also very nice and the food is great. The location is very nice and the beach and pool are just as pictured. A couple of things that made this more of 2-3 star property are the front desk staff and the incorrect description of the rooms. At The Sunny, Oceanview is really a partial ocean view, they should be much more clear with this. our room looked over the roof of the ballroom and if you turned to the left you saw the ocean. If you want a full ocean view then book an ocean front. Second, we had a party of three women, I booked a 2 bedroom ocean view suite. I expected 2 full bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a pullout couch. We got a one bedroom suite with a bed in the living room and no pull out couch. The description is deceptive and no where did it say that it was a one bedroom suite. There were two bathrooms. But let's get to the the real issue. The front desk staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable. They messed up our payment and when I called to ask for a hair dryer, i called twice and never got it in the two hours that we needed it. Poor customer service for a Hilton property, its is what made this otherwise 4-5 star property more like a 2-3 star property.

This hotel was AMAZING! So clean and beautiful! Our room had a beautiful beach view, my first time staying here and I will be back! Thank you The Sunny for a great reset and relaxing weekend.

Property and hotel was amazing. Pool is great. Hotel food and drinks extremely experience and always include a 20% tip. $41 for a double Tito’s and coke is unfair. I paid half that out on ocean drive in south beach.
