Nice hotel, rough area

I have to almost every to get housekeeping service.

I’ve been traveling to Miami for a while now and I have found my go to hotel from now on! This hotel was

I booked a room via Expedia however when I got to the property, I was told the hotel was booked out and there were no rooms available. When I called to request a refund, the front desk lead said he was the one who got the room ready for me before clocking out for the day and that I wouldn’t be eligible for a refund bc I was a “no show”. I provided in great detail who I spoke with regarding the hotel being booked out. He told me he would follow up with his staff and follow back up with me within 24 hours. Unfortunately, I never heard back from him again and I still haven’t been provided a refund. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I think the hotel cleaning staff should be friendlier. The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Our room was spacious and well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Room was clean, but it was falling apart. No AC in the restroom, fridge was warm, and the furniture seem pretty worn out. The restroom was hot and the ceiling fan was not working either. Staff was nice, but I would not stay there again.

Born and raised a few blocks away. Never stayed there. 42 years later when i come home to visit it is now my place of choice instead of my room at moms house. Double tree has given the surrounding community and i something to be proud of. You can go to the 10th floor and overlook the people who built south beach.
