Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami

I really loved this property. Great value, location and the service was excellent. The restaurant on site was fantastic as well. Really well priced for being in the heart of Brickell. This will be my go-to from now on when in town.

My room wasn’t ready at check-in and the staff was rude when I told them I had reservations. I waited an hour and a half past check in and was offered two drink coupons. The junior suite I paid extra money for was no more than a regular room with 100 more square feet, had I known, I never would have spent the money. Room was just ok, beds were comfortable but I didn’t feel like this was anywhere near a 5 star hotel experience. There are so many other choices in Miami, I had chosen a different place.

Great stay at Hyatt Centric Brickell. The room was spotless and the balcony was a real plus, perfect for a morning coffee with a view of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent: easy walking distance to great restaurants and just minutes from Brickell City Centre. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We'd happily stay here again on our next trip to Miami.

Great stay as always. This is my hotel of choice when Miami. Perfectly located close to everything in the heart of the city.

Also, the bartender in the restaurant on the 2nd floor, provided a receipt for 2 drinks with only a total amount. When I ask if a service charge was included in the $36.00 for two drinks, he replied no. My friend and I were at the bar later that day, and got a receipt with only the total amount, and when we pressed for information on a service charge, he finally admitted there was an 18% service charged in the amount. The servers then tried to backtrack saying the 18% was not a gratuity and was shared with the entire staff including the kitchen. Regardless, this needs to be shown on the receipt and the bartender should be honest when ask if a service charge is included. I dined in Miami area over the weekend, and 95% of all establishments are adding between 10%-22% service charge so I am familiar with the Miami business model for the service industry. To think employees are blatantly lying to guest is concerning.
