Comfort Suites Milwaukee West

Linens weren't changed when we went to our room with dirty carpets and lipstick on the pillowcases. Breakfast was terrible w fake eggs, no orange juice, coffee was empty and the options were VERY limited. We used to stay here for random staycations but the last few visits seeing the conditions deteriorating, we will NEVER be back. Meanwhile, the owners park their brand new Mercedes Benz vehicles outside while the overall hotel is falling apart. No thank you.

The place was dirty! Outdated TV, bed lumpy, floor dirty. The phone looked like it hadn't been dusted in over a year. Mold in the shower. We will never stay here again!

Very disappointed with this stay. Practically none of the rooms were clean. I had to switch multiple times. The furniture in the rooms were dirty, the floors were dirty, hallway carpet stinky and filthy, stained carpet in the rooms, those were stinky. The rooms smelled like pet odors and also cigarette smoke.The bedding has visible stains and looked dingy and worn out. It was a very noisy place where we ended up staying for the last room that they gave us. Not only that, the housekeeper never came to service the room not even one day! And she had the nerve to knock on the day that we were checking out to see if we were checking out. That was the only day that we saw her. We lacked toilet paper and towels. I didn't feel safe because they kept coming in the room multiple times unannounced without knocking. I'll never stay at this place again. They don't care anything about their guests. There also was a homeless person sleeping in the hallway. They claim that someone was running around knocking on the doors in the hotel as well. So they don't have adequate security. None of the ice machines worked either. You had to get ice from the front desk. This place is full of slackers. Breakfast was also mediocre too.

Nothing really, because sheets in room. On bed and on coach was un clean with blood on coach sheets. That my room was uncleaned.

I didn’t mind the location and the breakfast wasn’t bad, it did need a bit more for options and seating/layout was crammed. The comfort was not good. Beds were very dated and poor comfort. Our wall unit ac/heater did not work. Stained comforter and stained carpets. Bathroom was not clean and was very unpleasant to the eyes with the wallpaper falling down, leaking faucets, paint falling, the list goes on. All this for an overpriced stay.

Slightly above average cleanliness. Breakfast left a bit to be desired. Don’t come when it’s humid. Room A/C can’t keep up and it smells of mildew.

We checked in Friday night and immediately noticed our room smelled terrible and was visibly dirty, including hair on the bed. My son then found a bottle of alcohol that had been left in the refrigerator by a previous guest. I went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. The second room was also dirty, and I actually killed a bug while we were looking at it. We were then shown a THIRD room. At that point it was late, we were exhausted, and we just wanted somewhere to sleep, so we accepted it. Once we had time to actually look around, we realized how bad it was. The room smelled horrible. There were bugs, areas that appeared to be black mold, pink mold in the shower, dirty fingerprints and grime on surfaces, dust everywhere, and flooring that actually felt wet under our feet. This wasn’t a matter of outdated decor or a hotel needing some TLC. Three separate rooms had serious cleanliness and sanitation issues. I have photos documenting the conditions and will be filing a complaint with the appropriate city department. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

I booked through a third party and it was for one adult and 5 kids. While checking in the attendant looked at our bags we were carrying in and specifically stated we don’t allow parties of any kind. No decorations, no cake, no extra guests. I asked what if the guest are not staying? She specifically stated there is no guest allowed at all, only those who are on the reservation. She stated if we see anything that suggests a party is taking place we will ask you to leave and non refundable. There is nothing on the hotels site that mentions anything about not being able to parties. Also let me be clear. We were not having a party my daughter birthday was the next day and she wanted to get in a pool but there was no option to do that without getting a hotel. We had bags with snacks, cake, plates, candy bags and small things like that it was not a party more so a kick back, swim, sleep over type of thing. The sheets were dirty. Bathroom half cleaned. Carpet needs a major shampoo and cleaning. The couch was dirty and dusty. Whole room could have definitely been a lot cleaner. The pool was small. Overall I would not return ever!! Not worth the price I paid!!

Was very clean and staff was were pleasant. Nothing I seen that I did not care for.

The hotel was dirty and broken down. I wish I had not stayed here! The hotel rating is incorrect the correct rating is a 2 to 3.

Everything was good except the bathroom light kept flickering but eventually stayed on constantly.

They need to put more attention to cleaning

The weekend we stayed was unbearably hot in Milwaukee. The AC was not working in one of the rooms our extended family stayed in. We were polite guests who kept our rooms very clean. We talked to management regarding this the entire weekend. Were very polite about our situation. I asked only for a partial refund since, our son and his family obviously stayed in the room with the broken AC. Management gave us the go-around for a partial refund request. The manager rejected even a partial refund for this unfortunate situation. Very disappointed in the services offered at this particular Comfort Suites Hotel. You can stay there, but don't expect any reasonable resolutions if you have issues that come up.
