Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee North

The stay was ok. Not a fan of the later breakfast start time. The sink was slow to drain. The door lock would stick so it would take 3 attempts to get the door open. Spiders kept crawling out the drain.

Exceptional

Clean room. Ample parking No on site breakfast. Not a big deal but had to walk to neighboring hotel. Breakfast room crowded and looked like nonhotel guests were allowed to take breakfast items out of hotel in bags. Staff looked the other way.

The rooms are old and dirty.

Gave me the wrong kind of room (gave me 2 queen beds when I reserved a king well in advance), air conditioner was malfunctioning and smelled bad, tv was impossible to work with (all of the listed showings on the guide were wrong).

The staff were decent, mostly. Although it was awkward when my husband and I checked in and the manager asked if we were sure we didn't want a room with two beds. I guess she wasn't accustomed to seeing two men checking in together? IDK. Honestly tho, skip the continental breakfast!! Powdered eggs, terrible sausages, definitely not recommended.

We had a clean room , beds were comfortable , breakfast was OK. The pool was kind of a joke / at first I thought it was a hot tub lol very small with 4.6 f deep. Location was a little too close to the highway, you could hear noises throughout the night.

Hotel, was OK. Nothing great about it but also nothing terrible about it either. We stayed 2 nights and had more trouble than we should have trying to get extra towels.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

A little disappointed with this stay. Shower was clogged, had to stand in ankle deep water while showering. Bed was also softer than we would like but that’s a personal preference so I’m not dinging the hotel for this. Stayed 2 days and requested cleaning service to provide fresh towels. They said they would do this while we were gone and didn’t. Just underwhelmed with the service provided and we’re usually pretty easy to please!

I have had long stays at this location over the years. But this is the last time I will be staying at this location. It was so weird that housekeeping came in my room while I was out and took all my towels and did not replace them with clean towels. When I called the front desk they said that there was a shortage of towels and the hotel was fully booked. The front desk did manage to find and deliver me some clean towels, but unfortunately this was not the only time I had issues this visit with towels. Not fun and relaxing worried about getting towels, especially wash clothes.

The hotel served its basic purpose as a place to sleep. However, there were a couple of issues during our stay. There were no extra pillows available, and the bathroom door would not fully close unless we literally put our full weight against it. Overall, it was fine for a basic stay, but there is room for improvement when it comes to the room’s amenities and maintenance.

I like how convenient it was for what I wanted to do while in the area, and very reasonable priced. This hotel had what I needed as a single traveler.

Everything was nice I just didn’t like the wait time for check in! When I arrived there wasn’t anyone at the desk to greet me and once I found someone they weren’t the receptionist either. Then she found the receptionist and she still made us wait after knowing she had guest at the desk!
