I had stayed in the exact same room only a couple weeks prior, and I was horribly disappointed this time. The room was dirty, smelled like freshly cooked Chinese food, and the bed sheets were covered in stains. This was after it took like 30 minutes just to check in with my online reservation. I'm still waiting for a resolution to my cancellation. We were told by the receptionist that our payment would be refunded in full, after she apologized for the rooms condition. Also, I forgot to mention the TV had audio but no video for any channels. This was in addition to the other things I previously mentioned. The owner seems to not care much, and was quite rude the last time I spoke to him.

Stayed there multiple to times, staff is friendly. The location is perfect if you are doing something in Mineral Wells, or Parkersburg.

I don’t see how people stay anywhere else. The price , the staff, the building, the location, everything was perfect. Will be staying again for sure.

I was cat fished by this Quality Express Inn, I was expecting a Quality Inn Express… Immediately on arrival we got to witness paramedics tend to an OD in the hallway. The laundry facilities, ice machine, and pool are out of order. And the bed are extra firm.

Honestly hardly ever leave hotele reviews outside of just ratings but this hotel was a cheap pleasant surprise.. the pool was down but otherwise it was clean and the ppl working were helpful

The room had bed bugs and was not clean! They painted over mold and I got tore up by bed bugs and even have pictures. Took it to the office and they were very rude and told me leave go stay somewhere else. Didn’t give a refund and I had to sleep in my car while traveling because I had no extra money to pay another hotel . The manager Roj is horrible 0/10 don’t stay here

I have stayed here quite often when business required. Not real fancy but the rooms are always clean, the staff always friendly and professional, everything in the rooms work or they make it right. The building is located close enough to main artery to Parkersburg yet quiet. Restraunts are within walking distance. Shopping is 5 minutes either direction.

Expedia needs to go visit this hotel. They shouldn’t even have it on their site. Everything about it is nasty.

Mostly quiet, everybody minds their own business for the most part. Close to the interstate and restaurants, stores, etc. No smoking at all anywhere in the building, which I guess is normal these days. Harassed one evening for sitting in my car on my phone. I guess they didn't realize I was a guest at first. No coffee or breakfast.

Service was ok.did not like that they advertise a pool in hot tubes but they do not have any at all.

The room could use some maintenance to the sink, toilet, and a/c unit. Other than that everything was acceptable.

The pool is closed, the ice machine is broken, the outside security door lock non functional. No fresh coffee in lobby in AM. Instead the staff literally took yesterdays coffee in the carafe, poured it into a container, then microwaved it for 5 minutes, the poured it back in the carafe. All while I watched. Disgusting. Who knows how old that coffee really is. DO NOT stay here. Strongly advise against it. Good water pressure in the shower and the AC worked very well.

Lobby and check in was locked down and behind glass. Outside doors were unlocked and did not require a key the 3 times we used them. Our door had a deadbolt but chain lock was missing. Did not feel safe.
