Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District

I found this property to intimate and rather cool. It’s a converted farm equipment assembly plant and has a cool vibe to it. The staff was very helpful and friendly and its location is good. It’s not at all a large, convention-style place thus it’s perfect for a relaxed stay.

The onsite dining needs more kid friendly options...we were there for summer slam...tons of kids.

Our room was spotless and the bed/pillows were soooo comfy. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was a great stop for a lemon drop martini. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We were placed in a suite on the 2nd floor. The restaurant below had such loud music that our kids couldn’t get to sleep. The front desk was understanding but said the restaurant rents space and it wasn’t under their control. We asked to move the following day and they moved us to the same suite on the 6th floor. Super annoying to pack everyone up and move but we were very thankful to be away from the loud noise. Pros- big spacious rooms. Big bathrooms. Cons- no doors on bedroom, very little lighting in the rooms. We’d definitely stay again but request a room on a high floor!

Parking! I think it was like $30? Also hard to get out because directions say insert ticket & not scan so people were mad getting out !

Great location, friendly staff and great vibe to the hotel.

It was just very difficult to figure out where to park and get to the front desk. We drove around the block a couple of times and then ended up needing to call. When I called I was on hold for a little long but eventually spoke to a pleasant person who explained where the parking entrance was. I think because the parking entrance isn’t actually attached to the property it was confusing.

Loved this hotel! The character of the building, decor, location, cleanliness, very comfortable beds were perfect. Would most definitely stay here again.

Clean, modern, great location. Having to pay for the Spa next door.

This is a beautiful hotel with nice rooms clean rooms in a great location.
