La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Minneapolis-Minnetonka

The rooms in this hotel need some updating and fixing. The room we were in the couch bed mattress was ripped and all springs were exposed we couldn’t use it so my 9 year old slept on the small love seat with no room. The shower faucet sounded like the pipes were gonna come through the wall when you shut off the shower. The curtains in the room had rips in them. The room smelled musty. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and after the 1st time I hadn’t planned on coming back after the first experience here. That room was worse than this one. The lobby and breakfast area were nicely done and the hotel does a decent breakfast. Staff were friendly both times. The rooms themselfs could use some TLC.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants and the freeway. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. The hotel needs to be better maintained. There are scratches in the walls and the light switch missing from the bedside lamp. Additionally, there is no liquid soap bottle in the shower.

The rooms were dirty and not well maintained. Would not stay there again.

The room smelt like mildew indicating mold somewhere in the room likely from the air conditioner. The paint on the bathroom walls was peeling off and the tiles in the shower were cracked. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

Our room was very clean and quiet, and the air conditioner worked great. I recommend Tea House Chinese Restaurant for lunch or dinner. It is nearby and the front desk had menus. HUGE portions, and the staff was great with light-hearted quips.

I appreciate the cost and convenience of this location.

Location Customer service was horrible. Acted like we were bothering them when checking in and checking out . Checkout time the employee was on a personal phone in back and not helping anyone and 3 waiting. I was surprised this had the Wyndham name.

Quiet as well

The staff was wonderful. The rooms really need some updating. Lots of patched holes in the walls that aren’t painted. Money needs to be invested in remodeling the rooms. The lobby is well kept up. Very friendly staff.

It was fine for a night. Nothing special.

Rooms showing age and bathrooms need repair. Conveniently located to food and freeway. Lots of potholes in parking lot. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Trader Joe’s just up the street.

The backdoor lock to the building, didnt work. Anyone could walk into the stairwell and get to any floor.
