Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mission-McAllen Area by IHG

Highly recommended for anyone who wants a problem free, clean, and professional experience. I am a very picky person that has to check the room before laying my head anywhere. Especially when it comes to the bed, and if they don’t allow me to check it I’m not staying… So that being said I give a five star review to this location.👍

We arrived early and asked if there might be a room available? He said “NO” without even looking. The restroom was dirty and the shower had hair on the floor and walls. The breakfast area was standing room only, and the one attendant could not keep up with refilling items. The pool had over the maximum allowed. The bar never had an attendant. Hope this helps the upper management and anyone looking to stay here.

Did not book a handicap room and that's what they gave me I called the front desk and she said that's what they had that's what I had booked I checked my booking and it was not that the person was rude and not helpful did not try to accommodate or change me to another room she said it was full and the parking lot was half empty I asked her for a bottom room first floor she says she couldn't did not even try her face her attitude was not friendly I do not recommend that hotel stay almost fell inside the restroom because of all the water that was spilling out on to the floor the blind for the window was broken you cannot roll it up you cannot look outside the room looked empty very empty and sad the shower head terrible

Could be better if they had a change machine or tokens next to the laundry room for the people that have the same problems using the app.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Went over many questions I would have had but seemed to be proactive about any needs I had.

Young man manager is rude, no customer service at all doesn’t know how to approach customers with questions. Most staff acted as if you were a bother no Good Morning, or Good afternoon just looked at you walk by with a moody face. Employees always on their phones, and lack of hospitality after customers pay for they’re stay to atleast enjoy some good customer service.

Everything was great besides one thing ,on the checkout day when taking our luggage to our truck they had a sprinkle system and our truck was getting wet my husband had to move the truck to load our stuff ,and when the truck dried there was water spots all over our truck.

The staff was friendly, welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area.

Very clean

Everything was perfect only downside was my wife was excited to have bacon at breakfast only to find out they don't make it anymore. Other than that perfect stay would book again!
