La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mooresville

It was a nice stay, but the pool was closed. I was told it has been closed for a while and no one has come to fix it. I was told that they zip tie the doors open during the day because all of the readers are broken. Other than that it was a good stay.

The rooms were no clean enough, yellow and black dirt in bathrooms. Pool has not been available for a while and wasn’t going to be available any time soon(we were told at the reception). The reception is just one person and it takes a while until you are attended, so be ready to be fully patient. There is no shampoo or anything much provided. Bring you stuff if planning to be more than one in a room, we had to ask for extra shampoo since we were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). There was one tinny shampoo provided for the four of us..

Upon arrival the front desk man was kind of disrespectful since we look Hispanic he star to talk to me in Spanish several times and very disappointed that only took cards no cash

Convenient location to find, bed was comfortable, breakfast was simple and good.

It was close to the bowling alley called victory Lane on vacation has a IHOP here cracker barrel on one side, Golden corral behind it all walking distance Nothing yet

LaQuinta has done nothing to improve or at least keep it at the same standard as the previous hotel chain. The breakfast was mediocre at best, nothing like it once was. The pool looked good, but only visible thru the glass windows, still not open for use.

Person at desk wasn’t very personable. It seemed like we were bothering him. Room was very musty. Had an odor. Thankfully I had room spray with us. Wasn’t very comfortable with neighborhood. Room smelled musty, wet. Mildew.

Beds were comfortable and the location was great. Elevators had curse words carved into them which I had to explain to my grand children F**k is a bad word and we don’t say that word. Lack of serious communication regarding the pool closure, I heard 3 different stories, lack of decent parking, the one side door was broken for entrance and the back door is zip tied open for anyone to go into the building creating a lack of security. We stayed almost a week and only had our trash taken out by staff one time. There was some weird stain on the wall by the window. TV limited only to spectrum cable with no ability to stream your own apps. Breakfast only until 9 on weekdays are meat, round eggs that are hard and waffles you make yourself along with the regular cold stuff. Over $100 a night to just sleep is not a deal.

the staff at check-in was overwhelmed... long line with some people had problems... no pool... confused etc. Our check-in was quick. The next morning everyone was extra friendly. the room seemed clean overall. RM 418 could use a carpet cleaning and need some towel hooks next to the shower.

Good value. Clean. Pool closed. Night clerk could not supply a towel.

The rooms were old and dated, and very 'moist' in the rooms. Everything in the room felt wet, as well as our clothes and anything paper.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Easily accessible from the highway. Restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate. Seems like room was only partially renovated. Bathroom sink and mirror were newer but it was an old tub and tub surround. Part of the room was tile, part was carpet.
