Bask Hotel at Big Rock Landing

The Bask Hotel sits right on the waterfront of Morehead City with amazing views of the port and wetlands. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We also enjoyed the calm, mostly adult atmosphere. The hotel feels classy and is far enough from the nightlife that we weren’t disturbed at night. The only thing to know for a longer stay is that, without housekeeping service (it is upon request), you may need to empty your own trash and pick up fresh towels. That was OK with us. We’d rather leave all our things out without housekeeping coming in. The staff was always accommodating when we asked, so it was a minor inconvenience. We’d happily stay again and already made future reservations.

We stayed at the Waterview suite. The room is absolutely beautiful. The view of the water was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The room was clean the staff was extremely helpful and nice and we also had a great view of the ocean from our balcony.

I was surprised they did not clean the room the second day- I suspect that was disclosed and I just missed it. There was not a problem for me, but I suspect it would be for others. My main suggestion is they should have some breakfast option downstairs instead of just delivering it to your room. We were a group in separate rooms that wanted to eat together so that didn’t work very well. I suspect since they draw a lot of people coming there to fish that we would not be alone in that preference. It was a nice stay, and we enjoyed being there. Keep up the good work.

This place is a must stay! The room was facing the harbor and it was relaxing to sit on the balcony watching the boats come and go! Loved the way the room was set up with the queen beds separated by the little kitchen area and bathroom. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! The bask is located within walking distance of plenty of things to do from shopping, restaurants and enjoying a walk by the water, excellent location! I will be staying here again the next time going to Morehead City and will be recommending the bask!

Beautiful location!!!! Adequate parking, room was very clean, nice and cool. Delivered breakfast was a plus but the sandwiches & quiche lacked flavor. We still enjoyed the yogurt and juices!!

Really enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect, will come back.
